The “scape_lands“ is a readymade-fotowork series developed since 2010.
The theme is the hermetical law of correspondence (we exist in all planes, astral as well as physical) I discovered the scape_lands in the urban environments, the streets of Berlin.
YANOMANO
It is not common to see this guy in the Bay Area. I was patiently waiting for many years in the Bay Area to see one in plumage ☺️ Finally, I got to see one in golden light. San Francisco, California

Many thanks to Tony Davison for the invite to go and photograph this stunning bird.

This is Sabine's Gull, a very rare visitor indeed...
Sabines breed on arctic ponds in Alaska, Canada, Greenland, and Siberia...
Siberian and Alaskan birds winter off the coast of Columbia and Peru. They disburse east across the Pacific Ocean passing down the west coast of the US, where they are often seen on offshore trips so this guy is a long way from home right now because he's here in Leigh, Wigan, Greater Manchester, England.. As you can imagine it's caused quite a stir among the bird watching and photographic communities alike and many have travelled from all over the uk to see and photograph him.. I was lucky enough to get to see and shoot this rare visitor yesterday.. :-}}}

Another take from yesterday's encounter. Some early morning beach walkers had scared it from the beach and it landed in this soft sandy area. I had a nice one on one in this early light.

Popped to Langston Harbour to see the fabulous Sabine’s Gull. We were not disappointed with the bird putting on a very good show in the stunning winter morning light.

After it had preened itself for quite a while it took to the air before flying off to its preferred location. See previous image.
Very pleased to have seen my first ever Sabine`s Gull at Southmoor Hampshire. Stunning looking birds

Southmoor NR, Hampshire. Didn't fly around as much as i'd have liked, spent most time napping away on the mud, so it was a bit limited in terms of opportunities for flight shots. Thanks for any comments & likes - appreciated
My review of the year (or another excuse to post a few more that didn't make it first time around): January.
A rare opportunity to capture the full splendour of this attractive gull at Southmoor, Hampshire
Having seen posts about this gull for over a week I thought I would try having a look for it. Arrived at the site and was told it was really close to the sea wall a couple of hundred yards along. Got there to be told it had flown off and was probably back in the direction of the car park! Oh well did get a shot of a Meadow pipit and a record shot of a female Kingfisher.
Walked back towards the car park and there it was on the beach with lots of people taking photos. It was totally unphased by all the attention.
After a while it flew west again and then flew back to its usual haunt where I had first been!
Talking to one photographer he had driven for 3.5 hrs to see it. I had pushed the boat out to drive for 30 mins!
