Il sole cala sui Pays d’Enhaut, le strade attorno iniziano a trafficarsi di turisti sulla via del rientro. Le ultime corse in mongolfiera stanno terminando e se ne scorgono ancora un paio sparse sul territorio. Un treno speciale TPF rientra verso Palézieux sulla penultima corsa della S50 prolungata per il festival. Alcune tracce nella neve sono state rimosse digitalmente.
Die Sonne geht über dem Pays d'Enhaut unter, die Strassen in der Umgebung werden von Touristen auf dem Rückweg belebt. Die letzten Heissluftballonsfahrten neigen sich dem Ende zu und ein paar von ihnen sind noch in der Gegend zu sehen. Ein TPF-Sonderzug kehrt mit der vorletzten Fahrt der für das Festival verlängerten S50 nach Palézieux zurück. Einige Spuren im Schnee sind digital entfernt worden.

M51 — the Whirlpool Galaxy — is one of the classic spiral galaxies of the northern sky, located in Canes Venatici about 31 million light-years away. It is actually an interacting pair: the large face-on spiral galaxy NGC 5194 and its smaller companion NGC 5195. Their gravitational dance helps shape the dramatic spiral arms and the faint bridge-like structure between them.
This was captured with my Seestar S50 during a live-stacking session. One of the really cool moments was noticing that the field contained more than just M51 itself: I spotted a tiny, faint, slightly stretched smudge in the background. After solving the image with Astrometry.net, I identified it as IC 4263 (see note that pop up when mouse pointer enter photo), a much fainter galaxy quietly sharing the field with the famous Whirlpool. That light took 131 million years to my sensor!

That is one of the joys of galaxy season: while imaging a celebrated target, the frame quietly fills with other distant island universes waiting to be noticed.

A joint venture called Beiqi Yinxiang Automobile between BAIC (Beijing Auto), one of the four large state-owned car enterprises, and Yinxiang Motorcycle Group, makes cheap vans and MPVs under the Weiwang name and SUVs under the Huansu name in Chongqing. It oddly also makes its own version of the (BAIC) Senova X65, Senova's largest SUV, as the Weiwang S50. Weiwang's M20, M30 and M35 range competes with the Wuling Hongguang, while M50F is Weiwang's largest MPV. BAIC Huansu's H2 and H2V are derived from the Weiwang M20/M30/M35.
The S50 is a rebadged Senova X65, the largest SUV of BAIC's most upmarket brand: Senova. BAIC thought it made sense to sell a relatively upmarket SUV under a cheap bread van and MPV brand... A refreshed version, named S60, will be launched soon. BAIC sold 23,423 units of the Weiwang S50 in 2016, compared to 8,372 units of the more expensive Senova X65 (22,403 units in 2015).

Note, S50 GHH was originally operated by Fife Scottish Omnibuses Limited as number 24005 with the registration SP57 CNN. It was withdrawn from service in late summer 2016 and stored until loaned to Reading Transport Limited as number 11 between late 2017 and April 2018. It was purchased by GHH Coach Hirers Ltd in 2018, being re-registered S50 GHH and was then purchased by Red Rose Travel (Lancashire) Ltd
S50 GHH was operating the service due to a Go North West Limited driver’s strike, the service possibly being the 12:48 departure from Manchester Piccadilly

A Dongfeng Fengxing Jingyi S50 facelift photographed at a Dongfeng Fengxing dealership in Shenyang, Liaoning province, China.
Fengxing is the car brand of the Dongfeng's subsidiary based in Liuzhou, Guangxi province.
The Jingyi S50 is the first and lone sedan of the brand.
It is based on the Dongfeng Fengshen A60, which is an update Nissan Bluebird Sylphy.
The car is launched in early 2015.
The Jingyi S50 is facelifted early 2017 with a new front, new headlights.
Powered by 1.5 (120hp), 1.6 (122hp) and 2.0 (147hp) gas engines.
Sold for 65.900 to 131.800 RMB (about €8.400-16.800 or US $9.900-19.700).
Sales are low (<10.000 units in 2015 and 2016).
