Another image from the recently acquired Seestar smart telescope. This one just 111 subs at 20 seconds each for a total integration time of just 37 minutes. Processed in Siril using BlurXterminator for the first time, a popular bit of software that was exclusive to PixInsight but has now been made available on other software such as Siril. It is effectively deconvolution software but I only tend to use it for the stars only and if you compare this image to the first Seestar image I posted of the Running Chicken Nebula you can see how much of a difference it makes to the stars!

This particular nebula only gets as high as about 16 degrees where I live down in the Southern Hemisphere, so it limits you somewhat. It didn't help on this particular night that the temperature reached below freezing and most of my other equipment was completely saturated in dew....the Seestar, while quite wet around its casing, didn't have issues with its in-built anit-dew heater.

Oh, this was taken at Yenyening Lakes, about two hours east of Perth, so quite dark Bortle 2 skies.
