Ryus is a Ghost Town in southeastern Grant County. A massive carbon black plant, unused since the 1960s and heavily rusted now, sits on the east side of what was a large company town. The only remains of the company town now are a few overgrown streets and a couple sheds. A grain elevator is still active at Ryus.
