Akuma didn't enjoy Ryu's tatsumaki senpukyaku, so he brought out the goshoryuken! I have to say it's not looking good for Ryu.
This shot was a composite but not in the way you would think, both figures were posed with stands and such to give it the height I wanted then a photograph of the background was taken and the the crap removed. There was one light facing Akuma and a second light coming from behind to light up Ryu, finally the background was lit with a single bulb to take us to what we have.
Was replacing my Thirsty Hippo when I saw Ken and Ryu figures standing in my display, and the inner voice kept urging me to do this image I had been wanting to do...
They're on their way up the mountains for their training to become the champion street fighters of the world!!! I like the red ribbon on the Ken's pony-tailed alternate head, and if it is on Ken, then we'll have to photoshop away Ryu's now don't we?
This wraps 2008. Happy New Year flickr-ers!
Folded from one sheet of tracing paper 2*2 m. I made it for about 3,5 month in time of the raid on the great dragon. Andrey Ermakov organized it. More you can see here: www.forum.loveorigami.info/viewtopic.php?f=81&t=720
