Guerrilla Wear is a clothing line that embodies the spirit of activism and music. Founded in 1999 by Renmin and Wowie Nadela, the brand was born out of a desire to create a line of subversive DIY shirts that reflected their shared passions. Unfortunately, Wowie was diagnosed with brain cancer and passed away in 2000. Undeterred by this tragedy, the other brother was determined to carry on their dream of creating a clothing line that represented their shared love for activism and music. In 2001, Guerrilla Wear opened its first store at Robinson's Metro East and quickly gained a reputation for its bold and distinctive designs.

Fast forward to 2021, and Guerrilla Wear's dream lives on. Their latest release of tees showcases their commitment to using fashion as a means of self-expression and social commentary. As a photographer for their new release, I had the opportunity to witness firsthand the dedication and passion that goes into creating each piece. Guerrilla Wear's clothing is more than just a fashion statement; it's a symbol of resistance and rebellion against the status quo. Their unique designs and commitment to activism have earned them a loyal following of like-minded individuals who share their passion for making a difference. As I captured the essence of their latest release, I couldn't help but feel inspired by the story behind the brand. Guerrilla Wear is a testament to the power of passion and perseverance in the face of adversity.
