It's 'Ruby', my latte-coloured hybrid tea-rose.
'Ruby' likes the colder temperatures of mid to late Autumn and is currently flowering here in the Hills District of Sydney.
And here is Donald Fagen, of 'Steely Dan' fame, with his awesome 'cover' of the classic song 'Ruby Baby', from his brilliant 'Nightfly' album from 1982.

'Ruby Baby' was first sung by 'The Drifters' in 1956. It was also recorded by the weird Icelandic singer Björk.

I've been adding to my bag this whole trip. The pink bow in the back I got at "min plume" and the decorated heart I got at "ruby rose" ... both shops are inside Shibuya 109. The rilakkuma friend korilakkuma I got as furoku from a tea drink, and the hello kitty bunny I got in Harajuku.

I went back through my old negatives and found a second image of the horse by Reminisce, taken from a different angle. The photos were taken in1993, on Mission Street near the MUNI bus terminal, San Francisco.
We had our Ruby Wedding anniversary on the 25th of Jan this year. Our friends gave us a Ruby Anniversary Rose. The poor thing got hammered in the winds we had earlier in the year but has given us one very small rose that smells beautiful.
This is Ruby Rose..... She belongs to a lovely lady that live's at the units were i do... Her name is Helen.... Ruby Rose was an abused cat for several years... So when Helen lost her own cat before Ruby, she went to the local shelter and there she was..... Ruby is still a little scarred around stranger's but is slowly coming around.... Ruby is about 11yrs old, but she is so playful when you do get near her....

Changing my exercise walk to teatime (and getting my first 10000 steps in the day for ages), took me to Mere Green and the Amazon coaches.
Not on an Amazon journey , but a red Volvo B7TL / Wrightbus Gemini having an outing on the X3 to Lichfield in the melting snow.

Lighting: A single speed light with Honl 1/8 grid and 1/2 CTO filter, boomed above her through a semi-convient window, and just a little ambient light.
Cincinnati Comic Expo held in the Duke Energy Center in downtown Cincinnati, Ohio. This young lady lends new meaning to the old saying "Walk softly and carry a big stick" (an ax like weapon in this case). Still, she is cute enough that she isn't all that intimidating.
