The Crossfire is a rear wheel drive Coupe and Roadster built for Chrysler by Karmann in Osnaruck, Germany. Designed by Eric Stoddard and Andrew Dyson the Crossfire is built on the Mercedes R170 platform and shares 80% of its components with Mercedes R170 SLK230. With Chrysler responsible for the exterior and interior styling.
The engine bay is virtually identical to that of the Mercedes SLK320 on their R170 platform. The wheelbase and track are also identical to that of the Mercedes SLK320 along with the seats, dash board, control panel and instruments.
Sales of the Crossfire fell well short of expectation and resulted in the car being listed on Overstock.com to clear out inventory. Very few Crossfires were imported to the United States and Mexico for 2006 (and almost all of these were roadsters).
In the standard version the power is supplied by a 3.2 litre V6 18 valve SOHC engine produces 215bhp and is mated to a 6 speed manual or 5 speed automatic gearbox.
The huigh performance version, the SRT-6 (Street Racing Technology) also has a V6 engine displacement of 3199cc Supercharged and deliving 330bhp. Available as both a Convertible and Coupe the SRT-6 also has specific features included suspension and brake modifications, a front fascia air dam and a fixed vs. retractable rear spoiler. The Crossfire SRT-6 model used the same drive-train, suspension, and braking components as those used on the Mercedes-Benz SLK 32 AMG.

I have limited access to a GPU much faster than my own. HUGE difference in speed. An image like this on my own GPU is a few minutes. On this GPU, it's less than 12 seconds, and less than 10 with a lower iterations setting.
OMFG this thing is fast, for image generation like this. Of course, this isn't the most hardware intensive workflow - but like I mentioned, it takes a few minutes per image on my own GPU.

Hoewel het weer vandaag qua voorspellingen erg tegenviel was daar vandaag in tegendeel weinig van te merken, en daar werd goed gebruik van gemaakt. Aangezien ik aangenomen ben in de Horeca betekent dat in de toekomst ook minder tijd voor de hobby, ieder heeft zo z’n prioriteiten♂️ Maar weer even terug naar de storyline van vandaag (24 Januari). Eerst werd er afgereisd naar Harselaar om daar nog even wat werk te maken van de regionale stoptreinen. Aangezien RRReis de zaken weer niet op orde heeft, bijna alle Protos stellen defect aan de kant staan moest er weer bijgesprongen worden door onder andere Blauwnet, maar ook RRReis zelf schoot zichzelf te hulp aan de hand van de 904 die inmiddels al een paar weken dag in dag uit heen en weer boemelt. En aangezien het weer vandaag aanzienlijk meezat besloot ik het erop te wagen en naar Harselaar te gaan (foto volgt nog) Daarna was het weer terug racen naar Barneveld-Noord om daar vervolgens weer de 904 terug te nemen naar Amersfoort. Eenmaal daar werd de reis voortgezet naar Hulten voor een poging van de Gekkengraaf Shuttle, helaas kwam die niet opdagen maar in tegendeel werd de 266 001 van Railtraxx wel gemeld, het werd nog erg spannend aangezien plots het ineens dichttrok. Even voelde ik de bui al hangen maar gelukkig nam de trein z’n tijd. Want toen de trein Tilburg Reeshof passeerde brak de zon toch weer door☀️ Het is 16:13 als de trein de 3 fotograferen passeert onderweg naar de buren🇧🇪
