Trans Europa Express/Trans-Europe Express was the first Kraftwerk album to be mixed in two entirely separate versions, one in German, the other in English.
The actual Trans Europ Express (TEE) was a line of trains that connected many countries in Europe and ran from 1957 to 1987 when it was replaced by the EuroCity.

Because of its many problems Berlin Brandenburg International Airport perhaps too belongs in my Discarded Air Stations series. This work started out as a joke when I read about the Flughafen's troubles, but so far it still seems to fit nicely into the series. Later on, when finished after all, I can always rename the title into a 'TAFKAP' equivalent ;)
In 2019 I was asked by postpunk legend Graham Lewis (Wire, DOME, He Said) if he could use this 'Berlin Brandenburg International Airport' satellite artwork for the debut album cover art 'First Fits', of Graham's new band FITTED. Other band members are: Mike Watt (Firehose, Minutemen, Sonic Youth), Matthew Simms (Wire) and Bob Lee (The Freeks). Together with Graham I designed the album layout.
On November 2019 we organized the FITTED album launch in Zerp Gallery (Rotterdam), with an interview with Graham Lewis, a DJ-set. Such a fun evening.

Painkillers is the second EP by American alternative rock band Babes in Toyland, released in June 1993.
It features four solid new tracks, one re-recording, and one track that is a brutal, 35-minute live performance of the Fontanelle album.
Babes in Toyland is about as harsh as rock music gets, guitarist Kat Bjelland screams and thrashes her guitar to the gut-pounding, throttling beat of bassist Maureen Herman and drummer Lori Barbero. Over their two albums and two EPs, the all-female trio offer no escape from their strongly female-oriented rock.
