Grey skies...flat light...can't control the weather! Without your own transport, scheduling and travelling for perfect conditions is impossible. Take what you can...had to go b&w with this one. Imagine a bright autumn morning with light mist over the water and golden sun illuminating the scene.
No point crying over what you didn't get...play the cards you have...metaphors for life there somewhere! Have a great day!
Well I won't hold you in suspense any longer. Here it is, built in 1836 and the third oldest bridge still in use in Australia. It is perhaps the supreme masterpiece of all convict constructions in Australia. Now I'll admit that's a big claim, but later on in this series when we devote several days to studying this bridge closely, I hope to convince you that this is true.
This shot was taken late in the day as you can see by the long shadows and the golden light.
Chance ! Je l'ai vue ... La célèbre mouette Arctique De Ross qui s'est égarée à Nieuwpoort. Elle semble s'y plaire et est la vedette du lieu .

Aside from the deafening roar of the motorboat, the place and moment were quieting.
Sensational Saturday to you.

I found this fountain mesmerizing, as it has a varied pattern and reaches different heights. I particularly like this view with the bright tulips in the foreground.

I'm looking after Ross at the moment, and last week I took him on a walk around Coombe Hill and Fugsdon Wood in the Chilterns.
This is a shot of the wonderful colonial buildings in the historic township of Ross in the centre of Tasmania with many of the old buildings dating back to the mid 1800s. The car dates back to 1932 and is an old Ford V8 convertible sedan.

A pseudo-forced perspective shot of a little 1/32 scale model Ford, set against the background of Ross in Tasmania as it was in around 2015. Given a slight sepia look for a more historic look and feel.
