Die Scuola Grande di San Rocco ist die besterhaltene der sechs großen Scuola Venedigs und befindet sich im Stadtteil San Polo. Sie ist berühmt für ihre wertvolle Ausstattung eines zwischen 1564 und 1588 entstandenen aus über 60 Gemälden bestehenden großformatigen Bilderzyklus von Jacopo Tintoretto, die zu seinen größten Meisterwerken zählen.
The Scuola Grande di San Rocco is the best preserved of Venice's six great scuola and is located in the San Polo district. It is famous for its valuable furnishings of a large-scale cycle of paintings by Jacopo Tintoretto, created between 1564 and 1588 and consisting of over 60 paintings, which are among his greatest masterpieces.

ONTN busts through one final drift before darkness just north of Alma. A broken rail had held up the train for about a half hour or so prior. Normally, this would have been a very annoying set back with darkness looming, however timing couldn't have been more perfect for peak dusk colours at this location.
