🎶You just took me to a flyblown town
In the back of nowhere
Smell was acrid and toxic
Couldn't breathe the air
The only club was called Conspiracy
They didn't like me much
What they wanted was tyranny
And all that crazy, crazy, fucked up stuff
Why don't you drive me?
Take me where you wanna go
Yeah, why don't you take me
Down this rough and twisted road?
Yes, why don't you teach me
Teach me all those foreign tongues?
Yeah, why don't you take me?
'Cause I'm deaf and blind and dumb🎶

i don't really know (remember) from which magazine or weekly that i cropped this from nor have any idea of who wrote it or when. I would imagine that it was either in the NME; Melody Maker; or maybe even Rolling Stone... It probably dates from around the early 80s -going by the other clippings that were filed alongside it. If anybody knows who wrote this; let me know.
e ascoltate appena potete almeno due dischi dei Calexico.

there are a lot of great photos in this Brown Sugar video that include Mick Taylor who was only with the group for a short time.
Rope Falls, on the Mt Halifax track (at Rollingstone) in Paluma Range National Park, QLD. A good start to the wet season has the creeks and waterfalls flowing well.
I should really have made a little film of this, the pebbles were doing a crazy little dance as the waves dragged them down the jetty.
I want them to turn black.

I got a reversing ring for my A7 so I could try some on the cheap macro photography. So far I am liking the results.
