Quick little figbarf I did. Jyn is being reworked and is looking great! Not sure if a Saw custom is happening, but we'll see. :)

Also, if you have any other ideas for Jyn's hair, please comment them.
In a time of conflict, a group of unlikely heroes band together on a mission to steal the plans to the Death Star, the Empire's ultimate weapon of destruction. This key event in the Sliders Sunday timeline brings together ordinary people who choose to do extraordinary things, and in doing so, become part of something greater than themselves.

Mural: Strathclyde Wonderwall
Artists: Art Pistol, Rogue One and Ejek
Location: George Street, Glasgow
The “Wonderwall” celebrates the people of the University of Strathclyde and their many significant achievements. Almost 200 metres long from start to finish and incorporating three 7- storey gables the project was completed by Art Pistol with Rogue-One and Ejek. This is the first big one.
When you zoom in you see also the two other smaller murals I uploaded before: 'Mural": the woman entering the building and a glimpse of the 'Exercises'.
(see first comment box).
Have a wonderful start of week ;-))

Candid street photography from Glasgow, Scotland. Glasgow is loved for it's "mural trail" through the city and much of the work has been done on commission by Rogue-one, an 'aerosol artist'. Capturing him candidly here as I stumbled upon him adding finishing touches to his latest work on Renfield Lane. Enjoy!

'The lower half of this mural features a telescope once used to teach nautical astronomy. Known as a Dansken equatorial telescope, it could be found in the observatory dome on the top floor of what was then called the Royal Technical College, in the 1920s.
The top half signifies todays research. Strathclyde University blonongs to one of Europe’s largest space engineering research groups which is developing radical new space systems and satellite applications. The aim is to bring space technologies down to Earth for use by companies in key sectors.'
You can see the first and third wall in the first comment box.

So, I wasn't really happy with my old version, and I felt like an upgrade was in order.
Now, I wasn't super pumped for Rogue One, but now I really am.

Jyn Erso V2:
Bottom to top!
Legs are completely painted by me. They were based off some The Force Awakens pilot legs. The boots go all the way around. The hips were painted and have a brown paper belt thing. The torso is entirely new! I changed the color, dry brushed with gray and even removed the Etape from it. The coat is new too! I really like how this one came out! Head used to be a Sabine one, but now it's a Force Awakens one, which I got at brickfest. The hair is a suggestion by my friend Liv}.
Overall I like the new one!
Please leave suggestions of figs you'd like to see me make down below!

'Inspired by a 1913 photograph, this mural tells the story of the Land-Ship. It was a mock navigation bridge built on the roof of the School of Navigation in the Royal College.
The Land-Ship was a revolving platform with a Kelvin compass mounted on the top, used to teach the School’s students the principles of compass adjustment.'
You can see the first and second wall in the first comment box.
This simple lookout stand took me forever to build. It went through numerous iterations before settling in on the build pictured above. The railing pictured might of well have been spring loaded as the slightest bump would cause it to explode.
It was like taking a picture of a time bomb, as the thing would only stay together for so long.
This was another idea I got from the Star Wars Card Trader app. Lots of great images to be found in that app if you haven't checked it out yet.
Thanks for looking and have a great day
Not a new mural, but has survived time and artists😊 Here full story

Rogue-one is a graffiti artist from Glasgow. He has been mastering the art of spraypainting for over 15 years. His work ranges from stencils, pieces, characters, 3D, canvases and to large scale productions. also working in oils and acrylics and graphic design.
In his own words: „I started like most graffiti artists do, the typical tagging on the streets. Then moving on to finding and painting at quiet spots in or out of the city where I have the time to freely paint more detailed work. My first mural or piece was a painting of hip hop rapper ‘ice cube’ on a wall down the street from where I lived as a youngster. I thought it was great, and when traveling on the bus by the wall I would overhear the people saying “look at that!” and pointing. This is what helped give me the thrill of graffiti and got me hooked.“
I tried something different here...
K-2SO looks great (and kind of funny) in the trailer, imho. And I love the LEGO version!
I'm hoping I'm the first to do this character. I have been working on her since BFAL. I took a few liberties with the colors since it is hard to tell some of the true colors from the 2 photos on the web of this costume.
Sculpting, Modification and Paint by KJ, Hair piece is a modified cave girl hair. Jacket, Scarf, Belt and Gloves all made with Procreate (Thanks Billy and Josiah!). Weapon I believe is old school CAC and Holster is by Minifigcat. C&C always welcomed. I hope you enjoy!

A Shoretrooper and a Stromtrooper patrol the beaches of Scarif. Just a small vig I built while I was sorting my bricks.
Man, this shot gave me a run for my money. I shot over a dozen different takes and angles and just couldn't seem to get what I wanted.
(ROGUE ONE SPOILERS BELOW!!!!)
My original idea was to have Darth Vader in the foreground of the shot, but I struggled with making it work, and eventually gave up. I couldn't get his sabre to look like it was the light source, and positioning him was awkward.
So I opted to take him out thinking that anyone who has seen Rogue One knows what these rebels are running from.
While photographing this shot gave me trouble, the build was super fun to do. It went through several iterations, but ended up pretty cool in the end. I'll throw up some shots of it before I dismantle things.
So, what do you think? Any constructive criticism on this on that you care to share?
Thanks and have a great day
Brickbuilt Jyn Erso from the upcoming Rogue One. This is her in a pose from the early photo shot of her and her crew.
Haven't seen anyone attempt at brick building Jyn Erso at this scale. Look forward to other's work. I might build the rest of the Rebels in the near future.
One of my first photos of 2017. I wanted to take that one with Rey and BB-8 but used Jyn instead. It seemed to me that Rey's dark red bike wouldn't fit as well with the landscape and the light as Jyn's white bike.

This is dedicated to all those who stood up today to peacefully protest and make their voices heard around the globe. Your signal came in as strong as Jyn & Cassian transmitting the Death Star plans to the rebellion.
You are all an inspiration.
You are hope.
You are The Rebellion.
May The Force be With you.
The TIE Striker was a TIE fighter variant designed for atmospheric missions. It was, in fact, a truly fantastic design, fit to withstand the extreme temperatures of a night on Hoth. Yes, space is much colder, but on Hoth the changing temperatures caused condensated moisture to wreak havoc on manned vehicles. TIE Striker had none of that.
TK-24/7 loved the Striker. He was the only non-pilot ranked trooper to be allowed to use it for experimental missions during the surveillance missions period on Hoth. It was not exactly official, but the officers did not see the need to play this by the book. Hoth was a desolate and remote place, there was no harm in giving some slack. The thing is that nobody knew that TK-24/7's "experiments" were mostly about how to build the perfect snow lantern. He was really good at that.
I am liking this ship more and more. It's a lovely desing both on screen and in Lego.
You know, some of my photographs used to reach the Flickr Explore back in the day. It didn't happen often, less than once a month, but when it did, it was a lot of fun. Then, exactly three years ago, it stopped, not a peep since. I kind of miss that. I wonder how it works?
The Sand People is running for their life as Jyn Erso is chasing them with Cassian Andor. I'm pretty sure they have somehow awaken the alarm system of U-Wing Starfighter while the Rogue One crew had a little nap in the troop compartment. This doesn't look good as that Rebel Starfighter is ready to fire!
Lately, I've been basically posting photos that were taken last year. I'm gonna change that for a sec and show you some of my recent work from this year. And yes, I've finally got my Rogue One set, too! Loved that fighter in the movie, so it's was obvious choice for me to pick-up this from the shelf of a local Lego shop.
Also, If only you could see what a mess is in my photo-studio right after this photo was taken... this is a complete disaster! There's sand in a places I'm not allowing to be normally. But at least I've got this frame from the session that took hours to make it alive. Someone please, come clean this room!
Educational mural on the side of the Graham Hills building, Strathclyde University, Glasgow. The mural, depicting a lecture theatre, was created by Art Pistol, aided by Rogue-One and Ejek.
"The Worlds Most Economical Taxi" by Rogue One, Edinburgh. Note, this is not painted onto a brick wall, the brick wall is part of the painting.
just a update....one Vader I'm just gonna keep him as CLASSIC looking as possible(less custom painting) and the other one will be as tall as possible(like what he looks like in rogue one) so now I got 2 vaders to play with ;)
Chapter 1: The Mandalorian
The Mandalorian travels to a desert planet Arvala-7, and meets a native named Kuiil who wants to be rid of the criminals and mercenaries who now inhabit the area. Kuiil teaches the Mandalorian to ride a Blurrg, as there are no land speed vehicles to traverse the area, and sends him to where his bounty is located. Upon reaching the hideout, the Mandalorian grudgingly teams up with bounty droid IG-11. They manage to clear the entire facility of its Nikto guards and discover that the bounty is a green, big-eared child-like creature. IG-11 plans to kill it, but the Mandalorian blasts the droid to protect the baby and bounty.
A new droid. Never been fully seen here or either on the big screen, yet. This one is K-2SO, sometimes spelled Kaytoo Esso or Kay-Tuesso. It was an enforcer droid originally created for use in the Galactic Empire's armed forces. Nowadays, it's a reprogrammed Imperial security droid loyal to the Alliance.
We've just have to wait and see, whether there's going to be the same lovable factor, like C-3PO, R2-D2 and BB-8 has already.
I'd just had to photograph this new droid from the upcoming movie titled as The Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. even tho, I pretty much don't have a clue about it's personality. This, however, gave me a free hands to try anything with it. This particular model is the Lego version I've acquired some time ago from The Bricklink. That's the eBay of Lego-things! And no, nobody gave me money for this advertisement. I'm just super happy user.
