Spotted this HUGE yacht off our pier this afternoon. In my dreams. Looked up some info on it.
A $ 100 million yacht built by Feadship.
The 60 meter (198ft) yacht Rock.it was delivered by Feadship in 2014. She is designed by Sinot Yacht Design. The yacht can accommodate 10 guests and 13 crew members. Rock.it is powered by two MTU 12v4000M53R engines and can reach a top speed of 15 knots. The yacht contains a unique control system that includes a semi-dynamic positioning autopilot system. This will allow ROCK.IT to keep her heading at anchor, hovering on the main engine and the thrusters.
Rock.it is the first yacht for her owner James John Liautaud, but he has chartered yachts before. He is said to be planning another, bigger yacht. The yacht Rockit is not available for charter, but enquire for your ultimate charter experience on other yachts.
Jimmy John Liautaud
Jimmy (or James) John Liautaud is the founder of Jimmy John's Gourmet Sandwiches, a franchised sandwich restaurant chain.
Went digging back through my library and found this shot. I guess I wasn't too fond of it when I first looked at it, but I really like it now. RockIt is a really cool visual treat at night, and can be a lot of fun to play with the light trails.
Had a great time at Herbie Hancock last night. He put on an age defying concert. Literally, doing jumping jacks with this keyboard around his neck at the end of the night. Not bad for 85!

RockIt, a self-imposed 24 hour challenge build. I spent about 13 hours of building late Saturday into Sunday. Most of the building was at a playground while my son was doing his thing at the skate park.
I wanted to make a clean round surface using the 2x2 curved slopes, and from there solved adding the four fins, then went upwards until I worked the payload area. I solved for the drill bit nozzle and then color changed for the silver and black section modeled after the Apollo mission rocket.
So, as you can see, my MechaRock contest idea totally failed)) This guy is called "Arson" and it's meant to say "Rock will never die!"
Only few more words about this model: it fits two minifigs, has two missile launchers mounted in both shoulders (8 missiles total) and that's where its uniqueness ends. Next stuff tomorrow (if only I would be inspired enough to make something worthy).
A really fun and thrill ride at Universal Studios. What's cool about this is that they have a selection of songs for you to choose to listen to while on this ride. Also, they have a small webcam in front of you to record your expressions and stuff. I didn't even know until the end where I got to see my video ;)

3700 N Clark St Chicago, Illinois. Across from Wrigley Field. Built 1891. In 1929 this was a auto replacement parts company. Also this building housed a grocery ran by Emily Carroll.

Another shot from Macquarie Pass. I really liked the light falling on this rock so I climbed under some low hanging branches and shot a close up pano. Worked out out although I might need to darken the surrounds a bit more.
What a magic spot. Clover Hill Track, Macquarie Pass National Park.
