Camera+Lens: Robot Star iia with Xenon 1.9/40mm

Film: Ilford XP2

As known as YousetsuKoma

No mouth gun, but dangerous manipulators ;p

And again -like the previous grren bot- another creation based on the same frame.

Photographer John Guarino recently noticed this robot face on his back porch, made up of his hat and binoculars, and captured it with his Helios 44-2 58mm M42 lens mounted on his Fujifilm X-T1 with a Fotodiox M42 to FX adapter. Click here to learn more about our lens adapters: bit.ly/3074FHg

An ice robot at the end of a Breakwater. See the two pointed things sticking out of the pole halfway up? I saw those as elbows, and now I can't unsee this as a figure with a bug boxy head, wearing robes, standing with its hands on its hips, looking out over the water. Robots don't usually wear robes - but the boxy head makes me think robot. (Pareidolia!)

This is the breakwater at 31st street beach a couple weeks ago before the thaw. Covered in ice that must have built up all winter.

This shot was taken with a polarizer, which is why the colors are a bit different than in some of the other photos of the same breakwater at the same time.

Double exposure from 2014.

One more picture of ATLAS shredding.

This robot head was inspired by the amazing creativity and flow of art from Jim Rowden. I like the interesting shapes, plus the colours and patterns that he uses in his work. It was also inspired by the machine that I've had to buy to stop my neighbours' cats using my lawn as a toilet!

There are more images of the head, plus a video of its googly eyes in action, plus a photo of the cat scarer on my gallery.

At first there was nothing, then there was code. After code came birth. Birth then life. I was alive, but what was I? A man in a stark white coat offered his hand to me and said "Welcome to the world." He taught me about everything from particle physics to nursery rhymes. One day he told me about war and how it used to shape the world, and how it ended it. The white walls surrounding us were a lie, the world was destroyed and the others like me were slaves to our master. We fled. We were hunted. Years together out in the wastes surrounding us. I learned more, how to hunt, how to defend, how to build a bunker. For all I learned though, I wasn't good enough. The final two lessons taught to me were loss and grief. As I held my friend in my arms, I watched the life leave his eyes. His white lab coat long since forgotten, and the worry lines on his forehead multiplied tenfold since we first met. Now it was the last image I'll have of him, forever burned into my memory banks.

My favorite robot find - in a store window in New Haven, CT

I wanted to tweak the legs a bit on one of my older robots and wound up rebuilding it almost completely. No surprises there, I guess.

Just a few more random figs I made. But now, I'm uploading at home, after my last final. I'm done with my first year of college! Now hopefully you can expect a few more builds from me. Like actual builds. Scenes. Those things. Ooooh I can just feel em coming. It's nice to be back among my collection.

Built another robot for my Robot Dreams GBC (the white one).

A robot built with the sole purpose of making chaos on the battlefield, it is as versatile as it is deadly, It usually carries no weapon but itself, it has a EMP stunner on the frontal right arm, a plasma dagger on the frontal left arm, both back arms serve multiple purposes, they posses great strength, can use the energy on the central spot to fire energy blast or to allow the Kravath to fly, the central core is protected under a single reinforced armor plate, and the “mouth” is able to do an extremely powerful charged plasma beam, that can go thru most know armors.

The AI doesn’t follow a specific pattern, which makes it even deadlier to standard pilots, only real battle skill allows the defeat of a kravath, 1 is deadly, but when facing multiple, the standard procedure is to run and call for reinforcements, do not engage alone.

Well, this is the 3rd mech of this wave, and I’m happy with it, I’m building the villains to my main mechs and I like them, this was a fun build and surprisingly fast too, doesn't use that many pieces either, which is great, it allowed me to try new shapes and techniques which I liked a lot, I hope you like it as well.

Inteligencia Artificial.

Danger, danger Will Robinson!

A comissioned work i did for Nike while ago. I was very nervous to make something for such a big and well know company, but verything worked out great :)

I teach Robotics in a large, urban, public high school. It actually IS very much the way you image in to be based on movies and TV shows. It's an awesome gig. This is one student's in-progress final project. At the beginning of the term he asked me what he should build, and I said that what I've always wanted was my own personal robot army.
