"Mark Twain riverboat burns biodiesel fuel in its boiler, heating water into steam, which is routed to two pistons that turn the paddlewheel. Spent exhaust is then routed back to the boiler. The riverboat is guided through the Rivers of America via an I-beam track, which is hidden beneath the green and brown dyed water."
The "Cherry Blossom" was built in Palatka, Florida -1984. She's an authentic split sternwheeler and a re-creation of a 19th century Victorian riverboat. She's docked here in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia and offers tours of the Potomac around Washington, D.C.

Late evening along Middle River, with this cool riverboat. It is rumored that this will be a floating restaurant ... it is currently docked in a boatyard nearby, so hope it will be stationed locally here. If so, should be able to get some nice shot of it full of people.
