Thank you for your visits, faves and comments!

The bird was flying in a cloudless sky.. the sky was exactly as you see it but photographed 2 days later.. I simply put them together. Both images taken in the same place using the same camera. This was near where I live. This image can be found in my set called 'creations'.

Happy Easter to all who celebrate!

A bit of a stretch for an Easter theme, but this trumpeter swan rose up in the early morning to spread its wings. In the winter we can find tundra swans near us, and the tundra looks very similar to the trumpeter. Nevertheless, we were hoping to spot trumpeter swans in Yellowstone. We saw some adults with cygnets way off in the distance, too far off for an image. But this one was swimming along in a stream right up to where I was waiting on the bank. Yellowstone has a way of making some animals completely unafraid of our presence. A national treasure.

On our excursion through the north of Sri Lanka we saw many such dead palm trees in swamp areas. I imagine that the palm trees have drowned after the water level has risen.

Tonight, I lay my head on a feather pillow as I watch that bokeh moon through my window.

A stitch of a couple of separate images taken yesterday morning, looking towards the low, recently risen sun.

A very Happy Easter to you all out there.

I thought I would share something I heard this week. Someone was speaking about their personal story and she said "I stopped being a "Jesus Fan" and started living my life for Him. I found this quite powerful.

“Leave no "full stop" in between the sentences that make up your life story. If anything, let "commas" show that when you were brought down by challenges, you rose up with passion and moved on again!”

― Israelmore Ayivor, The Great Hand Book of Quotes

PLEASE NO INVITES AS THIS IS INTENDED AS A GREETING ONLY - THANK YOU.

Matthew 28:5-7

And the angel answered and said to the women, Fear not you: for I know that you seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goes before you into Galilee; there shall you see him: see, I have told you.

Is It So Important?

Is it really so important

just to know that Jesus died,

Does it really make a difference knowing

He was crucified?

Indeed, it was for all my sin

He hung upon a tree,

So it really is important -

through believing, I am free.

Free from all my sin and shame, my

conscience cleansed from guilt,

You too may know this blessing,

through believing if you wilt.

Is it so important then to know that Jesus rose?

That the tomb was empty, mocking

all the efforts of His foes.

Yes! It proves his power,

over sin and death and grave.

By His glorious resurrection,

we know He came to save.

His disciples who had seen Him die,

were frightened and were sad;

Until the day of resurrection -

His appearing made them glad.

He ascended to his Father,

there His precious blood to plead,

For those who came believing,

acknowledging their need,

He has sent his Holy Spirit

(Guide and Comforter is He)

He will teach me of my Saviour,

who will come again for me.

Then - with all who love Him,

we shall meet Him in the air.

He will take us to his Father's house,

to praise Him ever there.

Another shot from Wedge Pond but after the sun had risen. The Autumn colors were vivid and the reflections, playful. Fortunately the clouds played their part as well saving me from a bland blue sky. As well, another photographer (whom I later met) sets up on the far side of the Pond.

I wanted to do something special for Easter so for the first time ever I have tried to add a text my image. 'Tis the season to step out of the comfort zone and be brave. :)

Happy Easter once again my dear Flickr Friday! Thank you for all your support and your friendship!

Agnus redemit oves:

Happy Easter to all on this day to be Grateful for God's Love ♥

Christ is Risen: The world below lies desolate

Christ is Risen: The spirits of evil are fallen

Christ is Risen: The angels of God are rejoicing

Christ is Risen: The tombs of the dead are empty

Christ is Risen indeed from the dead, the first of the sleepers, Glory and power are his forever and ever.

— St. Hippolytus of Rome

At the start of my dog walk I stopped to take a photo of the rising sun - HSoS!

I hope this Easter will fill your heart with the Joy! May the Peace of God go with you,and stay in your hearts forever!

An empty cross, a risen Savior!

May we all follow His example, loving God, loving and serving others in need...

Happy Easter, everyone.

The demoness has sensed the chaos emanating from the city of Ironwood Hills. Investigating, she found the dead had risen -- and had developed a thirst for flesh. Drawing her sword, she ran to confront them ...

When I visit Kuala Lumpur I like to go to pretty Titiwangsa Lake to look at the city's skyline. Invariably - given Malaysian speed of building - there's something new to be seen. The last time I was here - almost three years ago - the Merdeka 118 skyscraper had not yet risen to its present height of almost 700 metres. You can see it on the left, behind the once tallest Kuala Lumpur Tower which it now dwarfs. As busy as the city is, Lake Titiwangsa is tranquil and placid.
