The bird was flying in a cloudless sky.. the sky was exactly as you see it but photographed 2 days later.. I simply put them together. Both images taken in the same place using the same camera. This was near where I live. This image can be found in my set called 'creations'.

Happy Easter to all who celebrate!
A bit of a stretch for an Easter theme, but this trumpeter swan rose up in the early morning to spread its wings. In the winter we can find tundra swans near us, and the tundra looks very similar to the trumpeter. Nevertheless, we were hoping to spot trumpeter swans in Yellowstone. We saw some adults with cygnets way off in the distance, too far off for an image. But this one was swimming along in a stream right up to where I was waiting on the bank. Yellowstone has a way of making some animals completely unafraid of our presence. A national treasure.

The Bridges of Madison County – Standing in the Rain
The greatest influence on our lives
at the time is not always known
but looking back I see the truth of it
now the most beautiful of us has flown
we didn't always see eye to eye
but made our peace and recognised something more than love
so gentle and so fragile; mutually in sync
a poet and another poet flying high above
you hid your deepest secret very well
I did not guess and that was your intention
you knew my heart would break and I would fall
but don't you know you made me strong; did I forget to mention
some of all the poetry we shared
the thoughts; the impossible maths that disappeared
into the ether long ago before we reconciled
and only fragments of the fire remain to whisper in our ears
to infinity and far beyond we said ...
I look up at the newest, brightest star
and everything I feel is still remembered
will last the distance no matter how near or far
Remember, mon cher, the words I wrote to you
they are imprinted on my soul forever
you reached out and touched my life in ways I cannot still explain
you are irreplaceable; you know that I will never
forget the codes and seemingly nonsensical ways of our communication
to anyone else that saw it; must have thought
who are these two; these poets; who do they think they are
but it does not matter; all that matters was that you taught
to look beyond the ordinary everyday things of our existence
to reach for stars into infinité
I am risen up to be a better person; little é and much more
you are infinite, mon cher ami …

The architect Egon Eiermann won the competition for the "Neue Kaiser-Wilhlm-Gedächniskirche". The foundation stone was laid on 9 May 1957 and the church was consecrated by the then state bishop Otto Dibelius on 17 December. The entire ensemble on Breitscheidplalz, consisting of the new bell tower, the ruined tower and the new church, is a listed monument and one of the most famous buildings in Berlin.

The different shades of blue give the church room the light intended by the artist. His choice of colours stands for "Blue is peace, red is joy. Peace that we and the people on our Planet need to be able to master the dangers that exist for our environment.

A very Happy Easter to you all out there.
I thought I would share something I heard this week. Someone was speaking about their personal story and she said "I stopped being a "Jesus Fan" and started living my life for Him. I found this quite powerful.
"On the third day, He rose again..."
Easter and Spring are symbols of hope for the new year and for what lies afterward.
Wishing everyone a Happy Easter from my garden!
“Leave no "full stop" in between the sentences that make up your life story. If anything, let "commas" show that when you were brought down by challenges, you rose up with passion and moved on again!”

Victimae paschali laudes
immolent Christiani.
Agnus redemit oves:
Christus innocens Patri
reconciliavit peccatores.
Mors et vita duello
conflixere mirando:
dux vitae mortuus,
regnat vivus.
Dic nobis Maria,
quid vidisti in via?
Sepulcrum Christi viventis,
et gloriam vidi resurgentis
Angelicos testes,
sudarium, et vestes.
Surrexit Christus spes mea:
praecedet suos [vos] in Galilaeam.
[Credendum est magis soli
Mariae veraci
Quam Judaeorum Turbae fallaci.]
Scimus Christum surrexisse
a mortuis vere:
tu nobis, victor Rex, miserere.
[Amen.] [Alleluia.]
Matthew 28:5-7 King James Version (KJV)
5 And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.
6 He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
7 And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you.
An empty cross, a risen Savior!
May we all follow His example, loving God, loving and serving others in need...
Happy Easter, everyone.

Happy Easter to all on this day to be Grateful for God's Love ♥
Christ is Risen: The world below lies desolate
Christ is Risen: The spirits of evil are fallen
Christ is Risen: The angels of God are rejoicing
Christ is Risen: The tombs of the dead are empty
Christ is Risen indeed from the dead, the first of the sleepers, Glory and power are his forever and ever.
— St. Hippolytus of Rome
I hope this Easter will fill your heart with the Joy! May the Peace of God go with you,and stay in your hearts forever!
I give thanks for what He brought to our world, and I'm thankful for your presence beside me through the Holy Week, dear friends.
You ask me why I love the Lord.
Well, friend, just let me say
Life was not worth living
'Till the Saviour came my way.
You say I lose so much in life.
Yes, friend, PRAISE GOD, I do.
I lose the sin and sorrow
Which was all I ever knew.
I lose the days spent seeking joy,
The long nights full of tears;
I lose the heavy burdens,
Which I carried through the years.
But friend, I would not have them back
For all that you could pay.
My life was not worth living
'Till the Saviour came my way.
