To my longtime Flickr friend KV, affectionately dubbed by me because he was the king of the mountains. He truly was one of the most fearless and amazing adventurers I've ever known. He always called me QB which stood for queen of the beaches - so here is my tribute to you KV, I'll miss you. My sincerest and deepest condolences go to his beautiful wife and 2 children x

News out of Missoula this afternoon was less than ideal, so with that I had to revisit some memories from my MRL trip last summer. Our best catch of the trip was this seven-unit set of power on the eastbound Bozeman-Laurel job, which we chased down the pass to Livingston. You'd be hard pressed to find consists like this anywhere in the 2020s, and like all good things it seems like its end is drawing near.

Today I lost another hero. Rest in peace great man

Today is a very sad day. Queen Elizabeth II who has ruled for the whole of my life, and who, at the age of 21, dedicated her life to serving her country has died aged 96, still serving her country up to the end. RIP

Some Flickr user named S. Sinclair has been ripping my pix off regularly - I have filed 4 Flickr DMCAs already and she slaps it back up on her feed. She claims she "found it on internet" - "She looked at my feed and I was obviously incapable of producing this work - and today claims I must have ripped it off as was too good for SL. My pix is my own and obviously older than her rip - Also I have other pix in same outfit in my feed. And I am wearing on my neck an item produced in SL I blogged for Eclipse Event. I dunno some days it just gets old...
