Then the Queen left off, quite out of breath, and said to Alice, "Have you seen the Mock Turtle yet?"
"No," said Alice. "I don't even know what a Mock Turtle is."
"It's the thing Mock Turtle Soup is made from," said the Queen.

Mixed media piece I finished this year.
Acrylic paint, feathers, paper-pulp, bird skull, rinestones, cut velum, found metal scrap, paper-mache, pen, marker, resin, human hair, velvet, wire. 23" x 25" x 7"
I made over a period of time that I was adapting to city life. The way I see it is that there are very clear dark and light sides to the piece. The darkness of the black feathers (and near it are little towering buildings with little falling microchips) represents the crushing of the common people in the name of a paradise for the rich, among other things!
The light side is the creativity, the energy, the inertia that sweeps us all in. I felt it all raining down on me uncontrollably, therefore the clouds and the rain.
..there's a lot going on here, kind of too much to explain I suppose.

My friend Judit of Vadjutka made me this incredibly lovely necklace. It is silk, cotton, vintage rinestone, and glass bead. I adore it!
Created by our tiny company, Legendary Stitches of Time, our series of color-block ring pillows is still another way to incorporate 2 or even 3 colors that are your special wedding colors into your ring pillow.
This pillow uses a lovely shade of daffodil yellow and a rich shade of chocolate brown to create a sumptuous ring pillow made of heavyweight bridal satin.
Nestled in the tufted center is a beautiful lightly textured yellow rose with a single rinestone raindrop that adorns one of the pettles. The rose serves as a ring tie holder for the chocolate brown and daffodil yellow satin ring ties.
The ring pillow measures 8 x 8 inches. Perfect for your wedding and as a decorator accessory after the wedding!

Today was a shitty day. I have felt sick all day, and it only seems to be getting progressively worse. I have a lot of homework, and my AP exam to worry about. I took both of these photos today, and just made them into a little collage like thing. The object I am holding in my hand is a handmade star spinny thing. It is a black star with silver rinestones and a hand made spinning spaceshuttle. I bought it for my boyfriend for our anniversary a couple months ago, and he broke it (it was a necklace) I am suppose to be fixing it but I have a lot to do sadly. I love Astronomy, to the bottom of my heart. I am a little obsessed.
Genuine home made folded skirt and top; applied flowers with swarowsky rinestones; XIXe century lower red and gold belt. Slipper shoes; champagne glass cup.
Hospitalized tissue hat with applied rinestones.
Today, my sweet boyfriend took me to the mall to pick out a watch for my Christmas/Anniversary/Birthday present (they are all pretty close together). I had really been wanting a gold watch and so I got this beautiful Fossil watch!
I took a lot of shots with this too. I had changed the white balance since the lighting is pretty warm in my apartment, but I found it made it a little too bright and didn't make the watch look very gold when I did that. It was also a challenge to get a shot with the face and not a glare with the glass. I liked the flash because it showed off the rinestones around the face and inside on the dial, but it left a glare and made the picture look flat. I decided on this one and I think it was the best out of the bunch.

The first thing I encounter off the direct train from Gatwick: preparation for the Queen's diamond jubilee flotilla celebration down the Thames. The Brits sure do like their Royals.

This is an incredible 1” wide by 10” long intricate mesh Victorian style choker. Seven rows of intricate honeycomb mesh shapes intertwine together to form the beautiful necklace. Centered in the front is an ornate 1 ¼” x ¾” Victorian style pendant ordained with deep blue rhinestones. The setting is brilliant. This exquisite mesh choker has a 5” adjustable chain on either side with hooks that allow for easy adjustment to almost any size. An elegant showstopper for that special occasion.
