Today is a pink or purple day at Color my world Daily and the theme at Smile on Saturday is ribbons. Which is fantastic, since i have this awesome « Canada » ribbon and it is a perfect theme to use it. I decided to add a Canadian levitating egg to this picture, just to make it more … Canadian lol ! I hope you will like it and I hope it will make you smile !
I had an amazing time at my Christmas event yesterday. We had lots of things to talk about and everybody was happy to spend some almost « back to normal » time. I have to recover today, which will be tricky since my husband has to work and I’m « alone » with my hungover and my two sons…

Part of my blue ribbon won at New Mexico State Fair for Photography. It was literally a grab shot. First place win and It would have taken best in show but the light blow out on his shirt lost me points. My Blue Ribbon win photograph "Campesino" is in comments.

I thought I'd make use of the snow we have and made a tiny snowperson (can't quite figure out if it's a snowman or snowwoman). It was more difficult than I thought, for starters I couldn't make round balls or anything even at all. I think I would be a failure as a sculptor. I gave it a tiny deco bottle and something you'd put in a cocktail in lieu of arms and I used narrow ribbons around the neck and a wider one as hat. I was so sad I didn't have a little knitted toy hat somewhere. Whatever I used as eyes and nose and mouth kept falling off the snow head, no tiny coals or carrots in the house.
I cropped it quite a bit to conform with the MM rules.

The ribbons are really white, but I've been playing with colored lights until I get this golden color.
