What's funny is - fifteen years ago I logged in for the first time so I could play the "gossip girl" warner bros. cross promoted RP. I fell in love with SL but ended up putting it down after only a couple months. Flash forward to the panini in March 2020 and I thought "Hmmm, i wonder what's going on in SL?" I've been hooked ever since.
So really, I'm actually like 3, but let's just go with fifteen - its less confusing. <3

Le Tornado est la pièce maîtresse spectaculaire du Fenix. Composée d'acier inoxydable et dotée de deux escaliers en bois majestueux, elle est la dernière-née des constructions architecturales de Rotterdam. Conçue par Ma Yansong du cabinet chinois MAD Architects, la Tornado est à la fois une œuvre d'art et une plateforme panoramique. Située au cœur du musée, elle relie le rez-de-chaussée, le premier étage et le belvédère sur le toit. Au-delà de sa fonction pratique, les escaliers symbolisent le thème central du Fenix : la migration.
The Tornado is the spectacular centerpiece of the Fenix. Made of stainless steel and featuring two majestic wooden staircases, it is the latest architectural addition to Rotterdam. Designed by Ma Yansong of the Chinese firm MAD Architects, the Tornado is both a work of art and a panoramic platform. Located in the heart of the museum, it connects the ground floor, the first floor, and the rooftop observation deck. Beyond its practical function, the staircases symbolize the central theme of the Fenix: migration.

It’s my 20th Rez day today.
I’ve made friends, and lost some.
Married a few times.
Met a few of you in RL.
SL is still surprising me after all this time.
Here’s to many more!
It was still early on a bright February afternoon, and Chip (his parents were lacking imagination) was sitting down to a fresh cup of tea, and debating how many cookies he could get away with eating. Then a sharp tap sounded at his door.
Grumbling to himself, he went to answer it, a snappy retort already formed as he threw open the door. Dazzling white light poured in, obscuring Chip’s vision, and in stepped Queen Nat, the wise and generous ruler of Unicorn Forest.
He quickly bowed, not wanting to offend such a personage, and inquired humbly about the Queen’s presence in his home. In a voice like something stereotypical beautiful, Noble Nat spoke, regaling him at great length about how the evil crone, Sada Snowpaw, had unleashed swarms of fairies upon the region. Relentless, cruel, and ruthless, they were a plague..a plague of..DeathFairies!
As was her right, Queen Nat charged Chip with a sacred duty. To go forth, into the wilds of Unicorn Forest, braving lag, stupid people who insist on being pushy, and numberless (actually about 20, that’s all I could rez) hordes of the Death Fairies.
Undaunted, Chip gathered up his magical butterfly net, which was proof against every stabby fairy blade, and set off, determined to vanquish the minions of Sada, or perish in the attempt.
For the record, he kicked ass.

L'alsace est notamment connue pour ses maisons à colombage. Mais comme tout cheminement d'œuvre architecturale, il n'y a pas qu'une école de pensée. Ici, nous avons des exemples très différents de l'utilisation de ses éléments en bois.
Certains sont à encorbellement et penchent donc sur la chaussés, d'autres sont droites comme des piquets, certaines arborent ce bois dès le rez-de-chaussée, d'autres laissent un voir deux étages aux pierres et n'utilisent que comme finitions pour le haut. Puis c'est pareil pour le toit, pignon, tout en croupe, mansardes, de travers, il y a de tout. Et dernier élément récent : la couleur. Apparue principalement à la révolution industrielle, bien trop chère avant, puis popularisée après la seconde guerre pour faire plaisir au touristes, certains n'hésitent pas à prendre des teintes très, trop, saturées pour se faire remarquer.

Every time Whiskey Monday unveils a new sim, I go and photostalk it. She hasn't left rez on yet but I know I'll catch her out one day.

"On the Rocks
My new sim design is inspired by a low country tidal marsh at ebb tide. I can only take credit for the inspiration and the creative brief. The sim was designed by Sparkle Skye, who once again took my ideas and magically brought them to life. Well, less magic and more hard work. If you need sim design, I can't say enough good things about her work. She nails it every time, and I am not an easy client.

L'artiste Marieke van Diemen a conçu The Maze : un labyrinthe tridimensionnel dans l'atrium du dépôt, avec des vitrines flottantes où sont exposés les objets de la collection. L'atrium s'étend du rez-de-chaussée jusqu'au toit, au centre du dépôt. Cet espace central, haut de 40 mètres, large de 28 mètres et profond de 6 mètres, est traversé par un escalier en zigzag à la manière de Giovanni Piranesi. Il est doté de deux cages d'ascenseur vitrées à une extrémité et d'un grand ascenseur d'art transparent à l'autre extrémité.
Artist Marieke van Diemen designed The Maze: a three-dimensional labyrinth in the depot's atrium, with floating display cases displaying objects from the collection. The atrium extends from the ground floor to the rooftop in the center of the depot. This central space, 40 meters high, 28 meters wide, and 6 meters deep, is crossed by a zigzag staircase in the style of Giovanni Piranesi. It features two glass elevator shafts at one end and a large transparent art elevator at the other.
