A few years back there was a vaguely Japanese themed dance club called Pino, which included a surrounding area complete with an Onsen (bath house) and mountain caves.
Pino closed, but a replica went up in its place - 'Pino 1971'.
The original creator, Belle Connoisseur has now built yet another Pino - Pino Island.
This is a full region, which again is quite loosely Japanese themed.
In addition to a beach and a small Japanese village, Belle has also added a small hotel in the theme of a Japanese love hotel.
Alpha Beach is a new development from Bali Virtual.
It's really nicely designed, with plenty to do without too much having been jammed in (one of my SL hotel / resort criticisms),
It's also geared very much towards couples.
The cabins are simple but have everything you really need and cost 500L a week. You can also rez objects there, making it a good photo spot.
Overall, highly recommended.

Caso Cerrado

Thanks to "Caso Cerrado" I have learned Spanish language.
I also found it very interesting with diverse subjects that offers a new perspective on life meaning. I have been watching Caso Cerrado since 2004. Now, I have to enjoy only the daytime episodes at 2:00 pm because the 7:00 pm show is not anymore televised. I hope it will return soon.
I miss it very much.
