This French-made car was popular in the former Yugoslavia due to low running costs, simplicity, durability and practicality. It had comfortable suspension and relatively high ground clearance, so it could be driven on bad and unpaved roads. Thanks to the local advertisement, but also to its general characteristics in real life, Renault 4 was nicknamed "Little Giant". It was a favorite car in many Croatian coastal places with narrow streets and passages.
The Volkswagen Karmann Ghia is a sports car marketed in 2+2 coupe (1955–1974) and 2+2 convertible (1957–1974) body styles by Volkswagen. Internally designated the Type 14, the Karmann Ghia combined the chassis and mechanicals of the Type 1 (Beetle) with styling by Italy's Carrozzeria Ghia and hand-built bodywork by German coachbuilding house Karmann.
American industrial designer Walter Dorwin Teague included the Type 14 Karmann Ghia in his list of the world's most beautifully designed products.
This Oldtimer Car got photographed from me with an Oldtimer Lens:
Minolta MD Rokkor 50mm F1.4
In monochrome, the front end showcases all its engineering prowess: four headlights like precision optics, the grille a clean steel frame. A perspective that makes the presence of this classic car truly palpable—photographed at the classic car show in Cologne.
Probably a 1920s-style SSK replica

I was going for a vintage/old playing card look with this one. Composite of dog and river, both taken on the same evening within 30 minutes, but at different locations.

Triplet lenses perform much better when stopped down, but their technical failings wide open have a certain appeal of their own. With the aperture almost open and without pushing the HP5, a kind of impressionistic look (old look, retro look, vintage look) is created: overall low contrast as well as only moderate sharpness in the center of the image and blurred corners. For comparison, see the previously posted picture of the same scene, taken under quite similar light conditions but with the lens stopped down.
First off, thanks to Natasha for her help in creating this. I haven't played with photoshop in this aspect as much, and when we first started out to take this picture, I had a different idea in mind that morphed into this final image. I could not have done it without her, and as always, she rocks :).
I love the pinup look, the old looks of simplicity, curves, grace, and hidden mischief. Tash had these awesome brushes she downloaded of the pinup girls, and I think it helped make this photo! I think to the days of old, when things were simpler, and think how much has changed for women in today's world in such a short span of time!
Special thanks to Natmarie for the use of the texture in this photo.
I don't know if I can repeat all the steps Tash taught me, but I feel a little less like a rookie with photoshop now! :)
