Nice collection of machines here. Sadly, I own none of these. I would like the RM 380Z and the Mits Altair.

The initial display after resetting the 6809. There's a border around the screen to assist with setting up the video monitor. The checksum error is due to my simply not setting up the EPROM properly.

One of my hobbies is collecting retro-computers, focusing on computers made by Atari. I have currently have eleven different Atari-models, three from Commodore and one other model in my collection.
The Luxor ABC80 was the first computer I ever saw live, this was sometime in 1981 - 1982.
The ABC80 is a Swedish made Z80-based computer from the late 70ies, early 80ies. It had simple graphics based on the same chip that was used for Tele-text TV's at the time, so the graphics capabilities was quite limited and only in monochrome. The sound-capabilities were also quite limited. On the other hand it had a quite fast BASIC interpretor, much faster than most other on the market from this time.
A friends father worked as a school teacher and he brought home an ABC80 with tape station and floppy drives during a school break or over a weekend. I remember that I was totally amazed by what I saw. He had at least two games for it that I remember, one that was a Pacman-clone called "GLIPP" and another Break-out clone.
The ABC80 was pretty much the standard computer in most schools in Sweden during the early eighties, they were very robust. I bought mine from the school I went to when they eventually upgraded them for something newer. They came with a lovely Keytronics keyboard, and I have changed the keytops from another Keytronics keyboard that belongs to a dumb serial terminal.
This piece of software came with a Power Mac i aquired the other week, Check out the price label!
