Feb:28 ...I would just like to add... there are a lot of rumors and falsehoods being scattered around. These same people have been, or are presently contacts of mine. Finnish-American architect and designer Eero Saarinen (1910-1961) set his stamp on the TWA Hotel at JFK International Airport. The retro-chic establishment is centred on the former TWA Terminal.
A former Trans World Airlines Lockheed Constellation stands outside today’s retro-chic TWA Hotel at JFK Airport. The hotel is based at the Eero Saarinen-designed former TWA terminal. The aircraft now serves up cocktails as the Connie Bar.

Eero Saarinen’s tulip chairs grace the retro-chic TWA Hotel at JFK International Airport. On the tarmac beyond stands ‘Connie’, a former TWA Lockheed Constellation that formed the backbone of the old airline’s fleet in the pre-jet area during the 1950s. She has now been repurposed at a cocktail bar with seats for 45 guests.

Several cars of the late-1950s/early-60s are parked around the ultra-retro TWA Hotel at JFK International Airport, including this bubble car painted in TWA’s red and white in the check-in area.
I used the Purl Bee's Granny Square tutorial and just. kept. going. I love this blanket so much, because it ate up all sorts of stash leftovers. For most colors, I can name the old project the yarn came from.
