I vow that this year I will draw more. Ideally, every night that I am home. I put the resolution into action the night before New Year's Eve with a one-hour session. Worked from an old photograph, but kinda dorked up the initial sketch and goofed up some proportions, then got WAY too overzealous inking in his chin, making him look like he had a devil beard. If you block out his bad eye and totally overworked chin, it's kind of nice, though. I'm happiest with his ear.
I wasnt going to post this picture, but when I was going back over it a song came to mind- so I decided to post it anyway.
(BTW- That cool pink floating pod craft and pink landing pad was made for me by Earth.)

Wedge-like forms dance down the surface of Elysian Fields, united by a single strong color. Working with a pared-down palette, Thomas created a rhythmic composition that seems to extend beyond the edges of the canvas.
In Greek mythology, the Elysian Fields are a utopian afterlife reserved for virtuous souls. Thomas evidently felt that the reference suited the clarity and purity of this painting, composed in brilliant blue and bright white.

This is a custom Munny I did for a contest held by Kidrobot. I used sculpty to create new legs, and the staff is made from wood and sculpty. I painted him with acrylics. He is a character who represents progressive change in our life.
