Finally order a replacement camera for the D200 that died in March. It was ordered this morning after reading Ken Rockwell's review of the camera. This image is from his website.

I got this dress for the 2006 TV Land Awards this weekend. Not as schamncy as the one I returned, but I'll be able to wear it more than once. It's so much prettier in person, so I hope my red carpet photos turn out okay.

THe Rearset itself survived the crash, with a crowbar to straighten it, the gearshift lever and footpeg was replaced.

Trees shown here during their fifth growing season.
In January 2010, 345 Silva Cell frames and 345 Silva Cell decks were installed along King's Road in front of the Convention Center in Harrogate, North Yorkshire to support 12 new trees. These trees were replacements for 12 established trees that were removed the previous year. Each new tree receives 9 - 12 cubic meters (318 - 423 cubic feet) of soil, with a shared soil volume of 110 cubic meters (3,884 cubic feet).
Brick Replacement Service is a 1m sq factory producing ‘Reseeding Bricks’; a replacement brick for encouraging arbortectural growth in the city. Each one is hand made and packed in the factory in London.
The bricks contain a multitude of seeds are used, from herbs and grasses to wild flowers and trees, packed into clay and soil London bricks, they can be placed in holes in walls or entirely new structures. Over time blooming into pocket meadows.
the original bajoran earring was eaten by the postal gremlins; which is just hideous and makes me feel horrible, But - and this is really weird because usually I come over all incompetent and strange and adhd when I have to do soemthing more than once - I'm really enjoying replacing it. even if it is taking longer than my head said it did last time.
This was such a gorgeous day at the beginning of February 2024. I wanted to spend the day in Central London but the Piccadilly Line was still partially closed and I didn't want to spend an extra two hours on a Rail Replacement bus - yuck. I spent the morning at the Premier Inn Terminal 4 watching takeoffs and then went to the Myrtle Avenue field at 1500. Too bad it got dark so early. The sky conditions were perfect. Life is good!
A few things I noticed with the new version vs the old:
-new one has a bent downtube (probably for Reba crown clearance)
-new one has the head tube gussett underneath the down tube
-new one has cable guides underneath the top tube
-paint is a *little* lighter and is a little sparkly
Looking forward to building it up.

Bit of misnomer, perhaps - this is used to hold the halter top & straps from the base of the back together. The dry cleaners broke the original, so I was asked to make a new one. Despite the appearance, it is made from a flat sheet of sterling, pierced and filed to look as though it is 3d.
