12+ mile circular hike from Pontneddfechan along a connected set of the Waterfall Country Walking Trails in the Brecon Beacons National Park.
The Elidir Trail from Pontneddfechan village to Pont Melin-Fach picnic site, walking alongside the lovely Afon Pyrddin to Sgwd Gwladus (Lady Falls) and then up the Nedd Fechan to the Pont Melin-Fach picnic site via Sgwd-y-Bedol (Horseshoe Falls) and Sgwd Ddwli Isaf and Sgwd Ddwli Uchaf (Lower and Upper Gushing Falls). Purple on the tourist map and signposts.
The Waterfall Link Path from Pont Melin-Fach to Cwm Porth. This isn't as well walked as the main trails and the route was tricker to find and to follow. Grey on the tourist map and green on the signposts.
Another (much - much - more obvious) Waterfall Link Path from Cwm Porth to join the The Four Falls Trail above and along the Afon Mellte to take in Sgwd Clun-Gwyn (White Meadow Falls), Sgwd Isaf Clun-Gwyn (Lower White Meadow Falls) and Sgwd y Pannwr (Fuller's Waterfall) before climbing back up through the forest and dropping down to the Afon Hepste for the "you can walk behind it" delights of Sgwd-yr-Eira (Snow Waterfall). Red on the tourist map and signposts / Green for the Waterfall Link Path sections.
The Sgwd yr Eira Trail then brought us back to Dinas Rock (yellow on the tourist map and signposts) and a short stretch along the road back into Pontneddfechan - for a perfect pint at The Angel Inn.

June 27, 2017 - Docked in Fengdu, China. Our shore excursion this morning is to meet with families that were displaced by the flooding caused by the construction of the Three Gorges Dam. The family we were supposed to meet with wasn't home at our first stop. Their new house was built on the land right behind an existing family home. We visited the family in the original home and found out that their children moved to Xian. When the elderly couple can no longer take care of themselves their children must move back to take care of them in their home. They said they don't want to leave their home and move to the big city and live in a high-rise apartment block.
Open from October 1942 until June 1944, the Jerome Relocation Center was the last relocation camp to open and the first to close. At one point it contained as many as 8,497 inhabitants.

This Santa Marta poison arrow frog (Colostethus ruthveni) lays its eggs on the leaf litter, and once they are close to hatch, one of the parents transports them to the nearest stream to continue their development as tadpoles.
Please let me know If my ID is correct. The picture was taken in "El Dorado" Nature Reserve in Santa Marta mountains, in Magdalena, Colombia.
The stormwater basin at the Morley Galleria is going to be moved so they can build more shops. It will also completely block off the bus station. Great work guys!
Though we have now relocated to our new house in Salt Lake, we plan on continuing our yearly tradition of visiting the Pack Farms Pumpkin Patch in Farmington to pick pumpkins for Halloween. This year was especially nice, there being near perfect pumpkins from the very beginning of our stroll through the patch. All we need to do now is to pick up our already carved pumpkins from Farmington and bring them down to Salt Lake to put them on our porch.

This photo has been taken as part of the scientific effort of the salvage archaeologist team H.U.N.E. to document the Sudanese Arab tribe of the Manasir and their cultural landscape 'Dar al-Manasir' situated at the Fourth Cararact of the River Nile.
The homeland of the Manasir will be submerged by the reservoir lake of the Hamdab High Dam (Merowe Multi-Purpose Hydro Project) in the very near future and all inhabitants have to be relocated by the Sudanese government.
