2025 didn’t feel like a chapter...
It felt like something we had to survive...
This was the year everything got laid bare... Distance... Timing... Mental health... Fear... Old wounds that didn’t stay buried. Nothing about it was gentle. But what remained was honest. What stayed was chosen, again and again, even when it would have been easier not to.
There were moments I didn’t feel strong. Moments where I questioned my footing, my worth, my ability to keep showing up the way love asks you to. And every time I started to drift, you grounded me. Not with promises. Not with spectacle. With presence. With steadiness. With a care that didn’t flinch when things got heavy.
You saw me when I was tired in my bones, not just my body. You let me rest without taking anything from me. You believed in me in the quiet spaces where I was still learning how to believe in myself again. That kind of faith changes the shape of a person.
This year taught me that love isn’t about never breaking. It’s about knowing exactly where the cracks are and choosing to protect each other anyway. We learned how to speak without cutting. How to listen without bracing. How to lie down together instead of pulling apart.
I won’t pretend 2026 will be easy. Growth never is. But it doesn’t scare me the way it used to. It feels closer...It feels like moving forward with our eyes open and our hands locked TOGETHER.
Another year of becoming better, together.
And still so much life left to live.

There’s something about quiet nights that make me think of you the most.
The world outside can be loud, chaotic, messy…
but in here it’s warm.
The fire crackles softly, golden light dancing across the walls. Little sparkles float through the air like wishes that haven’t been spoken out loud yet. I sit here, curled up in my favorite spot, boots still on, pretending I’m not watching the door every few minutes.
Waiting doesn’t feel heavy with you.
It feels soft.
Intentional.
Hopeful.
Thirty days ago, I didn’t know how much someone could become part of my daily rhythm so quickly. Now you’re in the small things the way I smile at my screen, the way my thoughts wander, the way I feel steadier just knowing you’re there.
This past month hasn’t been about rushing or labeling or trying to make it bigger than it is.
It’s been about:
• slow warmth
• late conversations
• comfort
• laughter
• feeling chosen without being pressured
And tonight, I sit here in the glow of the fire, thinking about how love doesn’t always arrive in fireworks.
Sometimes it arrives like this.
A steady flame.
Warm. Constant. Patient.
You don’t have to say everything at once.
You don’t have to promise forever.
Sometimes the most powerful thing is simply showing up… and staying.
