This was the prototype Norseman, powered by a Wright R-975-E3 Whirlwind, and was flight tested on floats on November 14, 1935. Sold and delivered to Dominion Skyways Ltd. on January 18, 1936, it was registered as "CF-AYO" and named “Arcturus." In summer 1941, Warner Brothers leased CF-AYO for the filming of "Captains of the Clouds" starring James Cagney. Principal aerial photography took place near North Bay, Ontario with CF-AYO carrying temporary registration "CF-HGO." CF-AYO was lost in a crash in Algonquin Park in 1952. Its wreckage currently is on display at the Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre.

Copley Square Hotel

A 2008 renovation buffed out a lot of the history of the second-oldest operating hotel in the U.S., but just know that the Copley Square has hosted many notables since its 1891 opening, including Babe Ruth, Billie Holiday and several presidents going back to McKinley.

Lufthansa, Germany's largest airline, together with its subsidiaries, ranks second in Europe in terms of the number of passengers carried. It is also one of the five founding members of the Star Alliance. Lufthansa is headquartered in Cologne, and its main operating base, known as the Lufthansa Aviation Center, is located at Frankfurt am Main Airport.

The Boeing 747-400 became Boeing's most massive production aircraft, with deliveries lasting for 20 years, from 1989 to 2009. German airline Lufthansa is one of the few airlines still operating passenger flights on Boeing 747-400. In addition, it is the largest operator of the passenger version of the Jumbo. Currently, the company's fleet includes eight 747-400 aircraft, the average age of which is approaching 25 years.

Lufthasa began operating its first Boeing 747-100, nicknamed the "Jumbo Jet" for its incredible size at the time, back in 1970, and the company received its first Boeing 747-400 in 1989. All four hundredth series aircraft have 67 business class seats, 32 premium economy class seats and 272 economy seats.

Originally the Carrera featured a 2687 cc unit of 210 bhp, all engines with Bosch fuel injection year on year changes sprouted widening wheel arches and finally energy absorbing bumpers

The Carrera 3.0 was given the same diecast aluminium crankcase as the 930 (911 Turbo) Its 3-litre engine had K-Jetronic CIS fuel injection. Power output was slightly down on the Carrera 2.7 at 200 PS. During its two-year life span, only 3687 cars were built. Of these, 2,564 were coupés and 1,123 Targas.
