A 2008 renovation buffed out a lot of the history of the second-oldest operating hotel in the U.S., but just know that the Copley Square has hosted many notables since its 1891 opening, including Babe Ruth, Billie Holiday and several presidents going back to McKinley.

Half-ton commercial models based on the Austin A55 were introduced in 1957 The van was released in February and was followed in May by pick-up, chassis and cab and chassis and scuttle models. More normally referred to as the A55 van, contemporary sales literature used the term Austin 1/2 ton Van and Pick-up
In October 1962, facelift models were introduced with a restyled front end and bumper, chrome side mouldings, 14 inch wheels and various interior refinements Morris-badged van and pick-up models also were now offered. From September 1963, the commercial models were fitted with the 1,622 cc (99.0 cu in) engine from the Austin A60 saloon, with the Austin's still marketed under the Austin Half-ton Name. (in fact this example is registered as an A60). They remained in production to 1973

Originally introduced in 1980 as a mid-engine rear wheel drive challenger to the dominant Lancia Stratos. The Turbo featured a mid mounted 1397 cc Cléon turbocharged engine situated behind the driver in mid body in a modified Renault 5 chassis which in standard form produced 160bhp.
Though it used a modified body from a standard Renault 5, and was badged a Renault 5, the mechanicals were radically different, the most obvious difference being rear-wheel drive and rear-mid-engined instead of the normal version's front-wheel drive and front-mounted engine. At the time of its launch it was the most powerful production French car.
Following on from the first 400 cars built for homologation Renault produced a second version, the Renault 5 Turbo 2, containing more stock Renault 5 parts, instead of the many light alloy components in the original 5 Turbo version.
The Turbo 2 was less expensive, but had nearly the same levels of performance, top speed of 200 km/h (120 mph) and 0–100 km/h in 6.9 seconds.

The Sunbeam-Talbot 90and built by Sunbeam-Talbot from 1948 to 1954 and continued as the Sunbeam Mk III from 1954 to 1957.The 90 was launched in 1948 along with the smaller-engined Sunbeam-Talbot 80 but many features dated back to the pre war Sunbeam-Talbot 2 Litre. The body, available as a 4-door 4-light sports saloon or 2-door drophead coupe, appeared completely new though it continued some major pressings. The saloon featured the original Aero-Minx pillar-less join between the glass on the rear door and the rear quarter window with its distinctive Sunbeam-Talbot reverse slope. went through three versions were produced before the name was changed to Sunbeam Mk III (without the Talbot) in 1954
Launched originally in 1948 with a 1,944 cc four-cylinder engine, a redesign of the earlier Sunbeam Talbot 2 litre
The car was updated as the Mark II for the September 1950 Earls Court Motorshow. The engine was enlarged to 2267cc with an ouput of 70 bhp and with a higher rear axle ratio for for more comfortable cruising. The existing chassis was fitted with independent front suspension using coil springs mounted on a specially shaped new cross-member. The front of the 90's body was modified; the headlights were raised to meet international regulations and the fog and driving lights were moved and remounted to leave air inlet grilles on either side of the radiator.
A coupé tested by The Motor magazine in 1952 had a top speed of 85.2 mph (137.1 km/h) and could accelerate from 0-60 mph (97 km/h) in 20.2 seconds. A fuel consumption of 22.5 miles per imperial gallon was recorded and the test car cost £1393 including taxes.
This car appears in the Father Brown TV Series as the car belonging to Penelope Bunty Windermere

The first of the new Super Snipe series was launched in 1958. The new car was based on the unitized chassis and body of the four-cylinder Humber Hawk, but with a new 2.6 litre, 2,651 cc, six-cylinder overhead-valve engine based on an Armstrong Siddeley design
During its ten year production run the car underwent numerous changes, over five separate series of cars. The engine capacity was increased to 2965cc for the Series II of 1959 along with the introduction of front disc brakes.
The styling of the Series III introduced in 1960 is distinguished by its four headlights and revised full width grille. The nose of the car was lengthened 3.25 inches to accommodate an additional pulley mounted on the front of the crankshaft so that air conditioning could be included as an option, principally for the North American market.
The Series IV of 1964 had a slightly higher-tuned engine giving 124.5 bhp increased from 121bhp It can be distinguished by its revised rear-window treatment (doesn't wrap around quite as much as earlier models), Snipe bird badge on grille, opening quarter-light windows in the rear doors, and other trim differences.
The final Series V version of the Saloon saw an upper body restyle, (also applied to the Hawk Saloon) with a flat roofline and rear window, six-light side windows and a larger, taller windscreen. Twin Zenith Stromberg 175CD carburettors were fitted along with a Harry Weslake tuned cylinder head, increasing the power to 128.5 bhp and synchromesh was fitted to all ratios in the gearbox. Hydrosteer power steering was available as an optional extra, as was an automatic transmission (Borg Warner Type 35 on Series VA), and metallic paint finishes. Rootes Group ceased Humber production with the Series VA in July 1967, by which time the company was under control of the American Chrysler Corporation, as Chrysler Europe. The last of the Humbers were assembled by Chrysler Australia at Fishermen's Bend Port Melbourne, Australia in the early 1970s

The Mazda Grand Familia, 818 or 828 depending on market, were originally intended to replace the smaller Mazda Familia to better compete with the Toyota Corolla, Nissan Sunny, and Mitsubishi Colt
The name Mazda Savanna (sometimes incorrectly spelled "Savannah") was used on the rotary-powered model sold in Japan, as a coupe, sedan, and wagon. Internationally it was called the Mazda RX-3. It was smaller and sportier than its brother, the Capella Rotary/RX-2, and was largely identical to its conventional inline-four, Mazda Grand Familia. It was available from September 1971 through 1978 in Super Deluxe coupé, Deluxe sedan, and station wagon forms It originally used a 10A rotary engine like the Mazda Familia Rotary Coupe/Mazda R100, but US cars shared the larger 12A engine from the RX-2. The smaller engined version has the internal model code S102A, while the larger one is known as the S124A.
The first Mazda Savanna went on sale in September 1971 and remained in production until 1977. It was sold as the Mazda RX-3 internationally when installed with the rotary engine and was otherwise largely identical to the inline-four-equipped Mazda Grand Familia. Externally the Savanna and export RX-3 was differentiated from its piston engines sibling by a nose panel with dual round headlights and a more prominent and pointed honeycomb grille. Initially in all markets except North America all cars were designated S102A and came with the 982 cc. The Series 1 was replaced by the Series 2 in September 1972, most likely as a result of stocks of earlier production vehicles remaining unsold and available in the UK into 1975.
In mid 1973, Mazda released a visually updated Savanna in Japan, though drivetrain choices remained the same as before both available in twin distributor form. Externally the entire front end sheet metal was revamped and a different set of taillights with twin brake lights

Boeing 777F Polar Air Cargo
Registration: N777SA
Type: 777-FZB
Engines: 2 × GE GE90-110B1
Serial Number: 37989
First flight: Apr 8, 2012
Despite the fact that the title indicates the ownership of the aircraft of the American cargo airline Polar Air Cargo, we will talk here about the airline Southern Air, whose logo adorns the side of the aircraft.
Formed in 1999, Southern Air was an international cargo airline based in Florence, Kentucky. Southern Air's fleet consisted entirely of Boeing cargo planes, including the Boeing 777F. The airline provided various services such as long-term ACMI (aircraft, crew, maintenance, insurance) and commercial charters. In early 2011, Southern Air signed a multi-year contract with DHL Aviation. With its Boeing 777F aircraft, the airline was able to expand the range of DHL express parcel delivery services at night through centers in Cincinnati, Bahrain, Hong Kong and Anchorage.
In 2016, Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings acquired Southern Air, making it its subsidiary. Five years later, at the end of 2021, the airline was fully integrated into Atlas Air, ending the history of its separate operations. And the Boeing 777F cargo planes of the former Southern Air were transferred to the fleet of Polar Air, whose parent company is also Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings, and DHL owns 49% of its shares. Therefore, the planes continued to fly on their usual routes, transporting parcels and cargo around the world. The aircrafts retained the DHL partner's livery, and the logo of the former operator was removed.
But one of these planes still has its former appearance with a large logo on board of Southern Air.

Novair
This airframe was also reported at Riem as G-BELO with Laker Airways Skytrain on 30 December 1979 (there were probably more visits with Laker during the early 1980s). In the late 1980s it was frequently noted here as G-GCAL first with Cal Air and then with Novair.
Information from airhistory.net - thanks to Alastair T. Gardiner:
This very early DC-10 - airframe no. 2 - originally flew for McDonnell Douglas before being delivered to Laker Airways as G-BELO in June 1977. It went to American Trans Air as N183AT in February 1983 and then Cal Air three years later. It transferred over to Novair in December 1988 and then went to Project Orbis as N220AU in November 1991 as a flying hospital. The frame is now preserved in Tucson at the Pima Air & Space Museum.

Designed by Kenneth Howes and Jeff Compton and aimed primaryly at the lucrative US export market, the first Series 1 Alpine was launched in 1959, powered by a 1494cc engine and was styled by the Loewy Studios for the Rootes Group. The car made extensive use of components from other Rootes Group vehicles and was built on a modified floorpan from the Hillman Husky estate car, The Alpine went on to be produced in four subsequent revisions until 1968.
The Series II of 1960 featured an enlarged 1,592 cc engine of 80bhp with revised rear suspension
The Series III was produced between 1963-64 in open and removable hardtop versions with a slightly detuned engine. To provide more room in the boot, twin fuel tanks in the rear wings were fitted. and quarter lights were fitted to the windows.
The Series IV of 1964-65, no longer had the less powerful engine, output rose to 82bhp with the engine fed by a single Solex carburettor new rear styling was introduced with the fins largely removed
The Series V of 1965-68 was the Alpine final revision, now powered by a five bearing 1725cc engine with twin Zenith-Stromberg semi-downdraught carburettors producing 93 bhp
Capable of up to 100mph. In some export markets output of 99bhp (100 PS) was claimed

Introduced in 1993, the Brooklands continued Bentley's angular design theme also used on contemporary Rolls Royce's.
The exterior design featured the classic Bentley waterfall grille as well as dual headlights with wraparound parking lights. As in many Bentley and Rolls-Royce vehicles, the Brooklands also featured the trademark descending bootlid and chrome B-pillars.
The interior remained luxurious and largely unchanged from previous models the one major change being the relocation of the gear selector to the centre console - for decades the standard practice among R-R and Bentley models utilised a steering column mounted selector.
Powered by a 6.75-litre Rolls-Royce V8 engine of 300bhp with a four-speed automatic transmission
