A lily with a daffodil refraction reflected onto a black shiny surface.
My single image with post processing in Photoshop and Topaz.
La réfraction peut se définir comme la déviation que subit un rayon lumineux lorsqu'il passe dans un milieu de densité différente.

Raindrops
Another raindrop image from yesterday.
Posting early as I will be out for most of the afternoon.
Catch up later.
I just can't help myself, when they're sparkling in the sunlight like this I have to take a picture :)
The light of late afternoon illuminates this window in the medieval Abbey of Santa Maria of Alcobaca in Portugal into a refraction of beautiful colors.
"I could compare my music to white light which contains all colours. Only a prism can divide the colours and make them appear; this prism could be the spirit of the listener."

There has been some welcome light rain in Brisbane today. Here are some of the raindrops suspended in a spider web, each producing a refracted image of a hibiscus flower behind them.
It was my first attempt how to make this kind of composition. I like it and I want to share with you ...
I thought it was interesting how the refraction of the pond can be seen in the droplet as it falls from the beak of this snowy egret. Fleeting in the material world, enduring in the digital world. Deep, huh?
Jade Plant (Crassula ovata)
A very cold and grey day here today with some light drizzle. Plenty of raindrops on plants and flowers to be seen.
SOOC, no crop.

I had some fun with water drops today. Back with the (big) daisies in the garden and armed with a glass of water that I'd added some sugar to (which helps the droplet 'stick') --- I played forever trying to get a drop in the right place, and then to position the camera. And then the breeze picked up, aargh! So this was the best image from my first attempt. I'm encouraged to try again, maybe on some indoor flowers next time (no breeze)!
