The classic! (not sure if this was off a pair of jeans or not actually)!
Went for the more obvious this week, other options just didn't seem to work!

20181211_9287_7D2-70 Jerk To Inflate (345/365)
I had just photographed the red tag against the blue of the inflatable life jacket (that I use when fishing certain river mouths, and the occasional boat fishing trip), and came inside to load onto computer. I checked the MacroMondays group and saw that next weeks (December 17th) subject has already been announced and it is "Safety", and lifejacket is an option, but my original pics were too big for the 3"/75mm maximum, so I returned to the shed and photographed it again.
The "inflatable lifejacket" lettering is just under 2½" across".
And yes, I don't count myself as a jerk, so I would have to debate whether to inflate or not if I got into difficulties!

Every year the Easter show is held at Homebush bay. It has been years since I've been, and with my cousin over from Macao, the family decided to take a trip down memory lane... I must admit, the animals were cute, and I felt like a little kid patting and petting the farm animals...

I asked our tour leader why these dangerous controls were out in the open where a curious person could try one "to see what would happen".
Her response was that even though these controls were all inoperable now, there were controls in other parts of the ship that could activate these. So, to be on the safe side... do not touch.
Furthermore, this is the state of this panel when the museum association took control of the ship, I presume from the Navy.

A seemingly endless number of grapevine rows basking in the warm California sun are identified by red plastic tags in the Artesa Winery in the Napa Valley outside the town of Napa. Owned by the Raventos family of Spain, the vineyard is called the Jewel of Carneros.
The renowned Napa Valley of California is really very beautiful with its grapevine covered slopes. While there were many vineyards in the area, we punched the location of one into our GPS and drove to the entranceway to the Aresa Vineyard and Winery on our way back from Napa. In the far distance, sounds of people having fun drifted to us from the far hill where the winery was located. While I took many shots of carefully laid out trellises covering the hills, I was able to actually walk amongst the grape vines to take some of these close-up shots… and learned that the post at the head of each row has a tag to identify it. These grapes were not yet ripe and I understand that they will be harvested between September and November.

When preparing a satellite for launch, the engineers use big red tags to mark components that must be removed before the satellite is encapsulated in the rocket fairing and launched. The idea is to remove these components as late as possible in the launch campaign, and the red tags serve as an important reminder do so. These items are usually covers that protect things like optics, connectors and so on. Very careful attention is paid to removing these items because if one is forgotten, the satellite will not work properly and there’s a good chance that the mission will be lost. The Aeolus launch campaign team in Kourou, French Guiana, has been making sure that the satellite's red tags are removed.

You’ll probably smell Man Mo Temple before you get there, as worshippers light enough giant incense coils within to turn the air an odd shade of blue and ensure everyone who enters leaves with a distinctive but pleasant Taoist perfume.
Nikon D800E with lens Mamiya 645 55mm f/2.8 mounted with Fotodiox Pro adapter. Taken hand held at ISO 200, 1/500 sec and f/4.
An enthusiastic customer of the erotic store in the background must has signed the "guest book" with red paint at the back of the traffic light :)
Using an f/4 aperture I was able to isolate the red graffiti on the top left (back of traffic light) while still leaving the name of the store readable in the background.
These vintage jeans are perfectly faded and frayed.

I am working on a project for my business class about Target and how big business stores are good. I am taking the stance that Target is trying to be socially responsible and has good business ethics.

A 180mm lens mounted on a Mamiya RB67 medium format camera body. Long a professional and studio workhorse, this entirely mechanical (and modular) camera system is sometimes called the 'brick' due to its size and weight. RB's and RZ's, a similar electronic model, are still in common use today.
