@doctam3's Lamborghini Huracán parked outside the Fairmont Pittsburgh prior to departing for Pittsburgh Cars 'N' Coffee as part of the BlackList Rally. The RedStorm was one of eleven cars from Pittsburgh to take part in the rally from Toronto to Indianapolis.
We had a high temperature of 41° today in Pittsburgh which is the perfect temperature for the #RedStorm to head out and roam the streets. The Huracán's tires make driving in temps under 40° F a bit dicey but it did great today.

Captain Redstorm and Captain Blue Star were interplanetary traveling women. They were known as Ruby and Aquamarine.
On the frontier planets, chauvinism and the treatment of women was reaching Ferengi-like levels.
No one knows where these two came from. A widely shared belief is that they came from the Space Agency's "Inner Worlds" as political assassins, killing warlords and political dissidents responsible for the gradual removal of equal rights.
They attract with their looks, they kill with their skill.

During the fallout, he lost his arm. When the <Classified> settled down, he got a cybernetic arm.
Captain Redstorm and Captain Blue Star were not interplanetary travelers. They became unfortunates, unable to quite make their lofty goals.
Someone has to dig ditches, you know.
Captain Redstorm and Captain Blue Star were not interplanetary travelers. They were aliases for the two MC/DJ's of the techno/house band Plaid Pair, who influenced a plethora of other bands including Draught Drunk, The Dunce, Attic Ballz, and The Element Sisters.
I will give you five cookies if you can identify the real artists (it's really not hard).

I often like to build my MOCs allegiant to one of classic LEGO Space themes. Usually I make some modifications to colors but I always start with the original color scheme.
So I made myself this simple and rough color chart and maybe some of you find this useful too. I also use this when on doubt what to build next.
This is nothing official (more like my point of view on LEGO Space) and I will be happy to hear comments and constructive criticism. Also if you find any mistakes or feel like there is something missing, let me know :)

Djehan Kidd (Hangars Liquides////) re-rezzed the ethereal cyberpunk environment from RedStorm Corp that was build by Camerone Vestel aka Pandemic Parx from DIVE, in 2010...This piece was inspired (like most of his work) by BLAME! the manga..It will only be rezzed for 3 hours now, since it is on a sandbox! LM attached! (derez at 6am PDT today, or so..)
If you like to explore, you wont see this anywhere, bit of SL history day :)

I got carried away by the actual Bantam Attack challenge at the Lego starfighters group.
This definitely does not meet the requirements. The only resemblance are the 4 side turbines;-)

After looking at some wierd shapes made from technic on Captain Redstorm's photostream, I thought about using the new tri-connectors to form a continuing shape with the different degrees of angles available. The 5's form a much tighter coil then the 4,s and I was actually able to complete the shape with a couple pieces to spare.
The heroes arrive at the S.T.A.R. Labs facility in Central City. Professor Stein is already waiting for them. All of them walk inside and walk into a room where something is lying on a table.
MP: "So this is S.T.A.R. Labs? Looks clean."
JR: "Thanks!"
RR: "Probably no thanks to you."
JR: "I'm gonna kick you so hard when I get out."
MP: "Professor. I love my boyfriend very much, but could you please seperate us? I'm needing my own thoughts again."
MS: "Of course, miss Payne. This is a quantum splicer."
Stein picks up the item from the table and tabs a few buttons.
MS: "This is what makes it possible for Ronnie and Jason to seperate. I made another one just for you."
MP: "You were able to make this for us on such a short notice?"
MS: "I had help from a very fast friend who lives here in town."
Jax: "He's totally talking about the Fl-"
MP: "I know, Jax. How does this splicer work?"
MS: "May I?"
Maddie nodds and Martin puts the splicer on her chest. He pushes another pair of buttons and Madison and Jax seperate.
Jax: "Holy crap, I can walk normally again!"
MP: "Oh my god I can think again."
Jax: "Aren't I always on your mind?"
MP: "Idiot."
The two lean into each other again for a kiss and they hug.
MS: "The two of you can merge again by focussing on the merge itself and by making contact."
Jax: "So we need to touch and focus?"
MS: "Exactly."
Jax: "Seems easy enough."
MS: "Now, before the two of you leave, I have a couple of short questions. If you don't mind."
MP: "I really want go home, but I guess we could stay for a few questions."
MS: "Great. So, miss Payne, now Mercury Labs is destroyed, I presume you are in need of a job."
MP: "Oh my god! I didn't even think about that!"
MS: "Don't you worry. We, here at S.T.A.R. Labs in Central City want to ask you to work for us, here."
MP: "Here? At S.T.A.R. Labs? In Central City?"
MS: "Yes."
MP: "I- I would need to move... I'm not sure if I'm ready for that."
Jax: "And if we would go together?"
MP: "What?"
Jax: "Let me come with you. We'll be together here in Central City."
MP: "What about your job?"
Jax: "I think they could use a mechanic at S.T.A.R. as well."
Jax looks hopefull at professor Stein.
MS: "I think we can find a position for you as well, mister Jefferson."
MP: "This is amazing!"
MS: "I have one last question though."
Jax: "Anything."
MS: "Did the two of you enjoy?"
MP: "What?"
MS: "This. Flying around, shooting fire, fighting bad guys."
MP: "I... I honestly did."
Jax: "I did too. I felt... usefull."
MS: "Would you like to continue that?"
MP: "I- Are you serious?"
MS: "Very."
Maddie turns to Jax.
MP: "Should we?"
Jax: "I wouldn't mind. We are blessed with these powers, Maddie. We can make a difference."
Jax looks at Firestorm who has been listening to their conversation.
Jax: "And two Firestorms are always better than one."
RR: "Now hold on for a moment. Jason and I are Firestorm. The only Firestorm. There needs to be a difference."
MS: "Agreed. That's why I already contacted Cisco. I had a feeling the two of you would want to become heroes. He has already thought of a name of your combined form."
MP: "We're going to get our own superhero alias? What is it?"
MS: "Redstorm."
MP: "That's.... so awesome!"
RR: "Holy shit... that's a pretty good one..."
JR: "Jealous? I thought you loooooved the name Firestorm."
RR: "I do! But I gotta give it to Cisco, that Redstorm sounds pretty cool as well."
MS: "There is one thing though. You want to become heroes? You'll need training. Everytime Firestorm goes out, the two of you will acompany them. You will as long as they and I see fit for the two of you to go out on your own."
RR: "Wait, what?"
JR: "I discussed that with the professor."
RR: "Without telling me?!"
JR: "Duh. You would've said no."
RR: "Fair point. Okay, we'll train you, but you'll listen to us, and follow our lead. One step out of line and we're done."
MP: "Yessir."
RR: "Good. Now enjoy your time outside of each other."
JR: "Pun intended?"
RR: "Hell yeah, it did."
MS: "You two should go home too. Get some rest."
RR: "Deathstorm is still out there."
MS: "You two have had a rough night. We'll catch him. Don't worry."
RR: "Thanks professor."
Maddie and Jax combine again and Firestorm and Redstorm fly into the night, going home and preparing for the next day to come... as heroes.

This is as far as I can go I ran out of both tri-connectors and 4's, but I believe it would form a sphere if continued in the same fashion. The axles sticking out are for dramatic effect only.
Beautiful sky last night. Caught this before the storm moved out of my view. The shadows are swifts or larks flying past at high speed.
