We had some rainy days in the Swiss Alps when I visited my hometown Schuders last summer. After doing some errants I headed back to Schuders, and passed by this barn above Schiers, located not too far from Davos in the canton of Graubünden. It's fun taking photos in the rain.
I processed a realistic and a paintery HDR photo from three RAW exposures, blended them selectively, and carefully adjusted the color balance and curves. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments.

A great English actor who in the 1960 film Saturday Night and Sunday morning finally busted the myth that we all talked like the cast of Brief Encounter . Finally the camera went into a place where people actually worked. Nottingham is not actually in the North but people in the south thought i it was and it looked scary.
I have no idea if “ Saturday Night and Sunday morning “ crossed the Atlantic it might have been a little too realistic in 1960 .

For over 50 years, he has been making extremely detailed paintings and meter-high polyptychs with self-made paint and gives his own twist to classical genres.

On one of my first trips to Paris, I went to the Basilica St Denis. Many of the kings and queens have been buried there, and it’s a dark and gloomy, but very fascinating place to visit. One of the tombs caught my attention right away, and I captured a different kind of shot….. the bare feet of Francis I and his first wife, Claude. The statues were so realistic that the couple appeared to be just resting. “The image shows the Tomb of Francis I and Claude de France, located in the Basilica of Saint-Denis near Paris, France.
Francis I was the King of France from 1515 to 1547, and Claude de France was his first wife.
The two-story tomb was built around 1558, about ten years after the king's death.
The lower tier…depicts the royal couple as life-size nude corpses, in a striking display of realism.”
