DSC2149 Perhaps a bit more realistic than the last one! It's always horses for courses with editing. Does anyone else drive themselves mad doing numerous different edits of the one image?....and even then I go back and think it's still not quite right! Crop this way or that, more or less saturation, white balance, levels, curves, clarity or not, tones etc,etc....and the lighting...I always have trouble with that. I used to have a relatively dark room to edit in and my images always came out too dark. Now my room is very bright ( which I like and don't want to shut blinds to edit) and now sometimes are too bright even though I check histogram. However, I do feel that the brightness demonstrates the conditions in Australia.....not always the best for photography! It is pretty bright most of the time. I particuarly noticed this when I returned many years ago from a stay in Singapore for a few weeks. I couldn't believe how bright everything was when I returned. Sunglasses are a must! Bla,bla,bla. What a lot of drivel! Haha!
The realistic wax figure of One Direction band members sitting casually together at Madame Tussauds. The museum has over 90 wax figures of international and Thai celebreties where you can touch, hug, take pictures and selfies with. It’s very interesting and great to be able to be so close up of a replica person and amazing to see the exact measurement of the famous person. It was an ordinary rainy day so it was worth to pay a visit and meet the stars.

I totally love these panties from Asteria that are at the new Cosmopolitan round. The problem was finding a top to match them and I hope I’ve found a good one with this cheekly little number from Ricielli that you can also find at Cosmopolitan. This new applier from YS&YS is really gorgeous, subtle and very, very realistic, especially with the new Mico hair from DeLa that you can get at Uber.
Paeony.
Well I thought you might like a rest from reflecting today (the Macro Mondays group theme) so I processed a paeony from last year (it’s been a while since my last one after all :) ).
Which is another way of saying I didn’t have time to implement my profusion of superb ideas (as you’d expect of me) for MM ;) (Don’t take me seriously, please, because I never do.)
This was an experiment. What I liked here with the original was the flow in the petals and the way they trapped the yellow stamen. I love paeonies for their random petal shapes and crinkly-wrinkliness, so I wanted to bring that out in the processing…

[Handheld in daylight on the old camera.
Straightforward developing in Photolab 2 with no sharpening.
Then processed just in Topaz Studio 2 with a very light touch manually building a stack of filters to try and keep the realistic look but enhance what I enjoyed in the flower. (Do say if you think it’s too much - this was an experiment!)
So we had (from the bottom up) AI Clear; Precision Detail; Precision Contrast; Sharpen; Abstraction (masked to exclude the yellow); Smudge (very light); dark Vignette. All trying to be lightweight. Sounds a lot but really each stage was a minor change to the image.]

I was lucky to have some color in the sky the evening I was in Bingen if only momentarily it made for a less than boring capture of the famous Mouse Tower.
In my previous post I mentioned the Bishop of Mainz extracted his tolls from the river tradesman with his three toll burgs, the mouse tower being on the river was the principal place of toll collection.
There is a story that goes the Bishop was also in charge of food distribution in the region and during a particular bad harvest season refused to let the backup stores be distributed and tricked the townspeople into a building that he barred the entrance to and set it ablaze.
Apparently laughing to himself about the townspeople tortured screams sounding like rats, he visited his own curse upon himself as that night a swarm of rats chased him down through town and cornered him in the mouse tower where he was devoured by the horde.
Disclaimer: Not trying to be realistic in my editing there is enough realism in the world, my style is a mix of painterly and romanticism as well as a work in progress.

We just went on SL Vacation to IBIZA and it was one of the best times we've had!
I highly recommend gathering your friends and family to take an SL vacation together. Spend that time bonding and playing and doing the sorts of things you would in the real life...have meals together, play games, drink and chat.
We, as a group, go on vacation a fair amount, but every time we hit Gabe and Tye's sims, it's such an amazing and realistic experience!
