With over 1000km of coast to explore on PEI you are bound to find some unique areas and if you are willing to take a hike along the water you will be rewarded with some fantastic albeit transitory scenery. The coastline of PEI has been eroding since it broke off from the mainland and the annual rate of shoreline lost is 1 foot especially following big weather events. With the rate of erosion happening whatever you shoot as a coastal image will not be replicated as nature removes an epidermal layer everyday making every image capture a unique one.

Ascoli Piceno once had 200 towers decorating its skyline, today they number around 50 and give the skyline its distinctive look, the town also boasts some of the prettiest squares in all of Italy. Pictured here is Piazza Arringo home of Migliori the king of making stuffed olives in Ascoli known as olive all’ascolana a treat of ground stuffed spiced meat filling a coated deep fried olive and also home to this fountain that brings luck to all that rub the seahorses muzzle. This 2011 fall trip begins in Marche and ends in Emilia-Romagna apologizes for the two year gap in chronological reprocessing but 2009-2011 mostly went in the garbage with my hard drive at the time, it taught me a valuable lesson about physical back up strategies and being diligent about making backups.
I took this on Sept 02, 2011 with my D70s and Tamron 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 Lens at 28mm, 1/320s, f9 ISO 200 processed in LR, PS +Lumenzia ,Topaz, and DXO Nik

.♥. Realism Art?
...No, it isn't.
The image is taken during the beginning of sunset in the Black Forest mountains.
There is the autumnal Temperature Inversion these days. I'm every year enthusiastic if this special weather phenomenon appears.
Nevertheless, particularly this image reminds me a bit of Realism Art by Edward Hopper..
Perhaps this impression results from the contrast of the inversion layer and the still green
meadows up in the mountains...
________
Kunst (Realismus)?

Amsterdam is highly walkable just avoid walking on anything looking like a bike path and instantly freeze when you hear the ominous sound of the bike bell, an even easier and faster way to get around is to bike if you have the courage to join the fray but be warned the Dutch suffer no fools on their bikeways.
For those faint of heart the city also has one of the best public transportation systems in Europe though no underground exists trams, buses and trains make their way overland in a very efficient and orderly manner at a very reasonable cost.
After many many visits I discovered on my last trip the OV-Chipkart, an anonymous reloadable plastic card that can be found at the train station, at a newsagent or at a supermarket just look for the pink OV-chipkaart logo and best place to purchase one is at the start of your journey at Schiphol Airport.
The initial purchase price is 7,50 euro and can be loaded or reloaded at terminals with the logo but beware that not all terminals use credit cards, once you have loaded what you feel is enough for your use the card is ready to go not just in Amsterdam but all of the Netherlands on public transport, here ends the PSA.
This shot was taken on the evening tour with the Dam Boat Guys and is a good illustration of urban life on the move and also that some of your better shots come from lesser subject matter.
I took this on Sept 9th, 2017 with my D750 and Nikon 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6 Lens at 32mm 1/60 sec f/11 ISO2000 processed in LR, PS +Lumenzia, Topaz , Luminar and DXO
