This is actually a music instrument. You play it by moving the pieces around. The distance between the pieces also relates to its frequency and sound.
My first photograph in the US, in my dorm kitchen.
Initially I thought that the solarization is due to the film having gone through X-ray scanners and therefore reacting differently. After reading online and a few more tests, I realized that I have been under-developing the photos.
This "failed experiment" however opened up other possibilities, that such effects (and others) can be done through premature development of the print.

The Sandston-based 2nd Battalion, 224th Aviation Regiment conducts Army Warrior Task training at Fort Pickett Feb. 7 to ensure the Soldiers are validated in their basic skills before they head to Fort Hood, Tex. later this month to begin mobilizing for their scheduled active service for duty in Iraq. Once in Texas the Soldiers will be focused on making sure they are competent in their advanced and military occupational specialty-specific skills directly related to their mission.
While at Fort Pickett, the 224th Soldiers spent several days at the post’s Military Operations in Urban Terrain, or MOUT village where they were able to take all of the individual tasks and battle drills they had been focusing on the previous days and incorporate them in a real-world environment and test their skills in life-like scenarios, such as casualty evacuation procedures and reacting to direct contact. Virginia National Guard Soldiers assigned to the Staunton-based 116th Military Engagement Team, 116th Infantry Brigade Combat Team conduct training on the Improved Explosive Device Defeat Lane March 3, 2015, at Fort Pickett, Virginia, as part of their pre-mobilization training. The lane is designed to train Soldiers to recognize indicators for IEDs, how to react to an IED, direct and indirect fire and proper techniques for requesting medical evacuation. Reporters from Richmond area news organizations were embedded in the training lane. During the annual training period, Soldiers of the 116th MET conducted extensive medial training, honed their marksmanship and land navigation skills. During their federal mobilization, the 116th MET will conduct military-to-military engagements with partners in U.S. Army Central Command’s area of responsibility including Kuwait, Jordan, Oman and Tajikistan. Martin Kaltenbrunner, one of the Reactable inventors, will perform on the original instrument together with the experimental thereminist Günther Gessert, playing one of the oldest electronic musical instruments. Within an electro-acoustic performance, the physical interface of the Reactable will contrast with the intangible interaction on the Theremin. Before the actual evening concert, participants will have the opportunity to try both instruments in an afternoon workshop.

There are three popular frontend frameworks/libraries that you can choose from: React, Angular, Vue. The State of JS gives a great overviews of their popularities. Whereas React.js is popular and mature, Vue.js is gaining popularity as well. I will not go into any further in comparisons between the three here, because in the end, people should choose based on different factors and experience the solutions (libraries/frameworks) themselves before making a final decision. My top reasons for choosing React nowadays: It’s JavaScript: It is true that writing React applications makes you a better JavaScript developer (www.robinwieruch.de/javascript-fundamentals-react-require...). You learn how to deal with classes (and inheritance due to extends), the functional programming paradigm with immutability, composability, pure functions and side effects; and language specific methods such as map, reduce and filter. Before I have been doing lots of Angular 1.x and never really experienced JavaScript the way I did when implementing applications with React. React has only a slim API and thus you have to deal with the JavaScript yourself. It only provides a small surface area to make you productive. Ask yourself: When you look 5 years into the future from now, would you want to have invested your time in learning a framework or the underlying language (JavaScript)? I would always choose the latter, because no matter what comes after React, you are prepared for it.
