Life leaning towards light on a north country river.
I'm so very grateful for comments. I'll be cutting back on my responses to them so I can give more attention to visiting the kind people who offer them.
I'm wishing all of you a wonderful day and weekend!
Thank you for stopping by and for leaving me a comment!

When a flower doesn't bloom, you fix
the environment in which it grows,
not the flower.
Alexander Den Heijer
The dogwood tree in our yard is so tall, and the flowers are all at the top of the tree, so I had to use my long lens to capture them.
Golden morning light hitting this bough that ws reaching over a seasonal lake, usually dried by the end of summer. Reflections of the tree line on the opposite bank giving some nice colours and patterns to the background.
Bit different for me...probably will be a waterfall here tomorrow

Immortality
by Lindsay Laurie
Mortal are us human kind
seeking peace with baited breath.
Immortality imparts the mind
to believe there is no death.
Immortality is really history …
writings from the then times wealth.
Replayed in a similar mode
as history repeats itself.
Each tiny fraction of the puzzle,
is ancient generations text,
leads the way to consider
what right now is needed next …
Each year reaches new horizons,
the past has been addressed -
and we live our life believing,
our time is the very best.
Stretching his hand up to reach the stars, too often man forgets the flowers at his feet.

The African bush elephant (Loxodonta africana), also known as the African savanna elephant, is the largest living terrestrial animal with bulls reaching a shoulder height of up to 3.96 m (13.0 ft). Both sexes have tusks, which erupt when they are 1–3 years old and grow throughout life.
It is distributed across 37 African countries and inhabits forests, grasslands and woodlands, wetlands and agricultural land. Since 2004, it has been listed as Vulnerable on the IUCN Red List. It is threatened foremost by habitat destruction, and in parts of its range also by poaching for meat and ivory. It is a social mammal, traveling in herds composed of cows and their offspring. Adult bulls usually live alone or in small bachelor groups. It is a herbivore, feeding on grasses, creepers, herbs, leaves and bark.

Description du lièvre européen

Description of the European hare
It's kind of a big bunny, bigger, thinner, with bigger paws and bigger ears. Its size varies between 50 and 70 cm in length for a weight of 2.5 to 6.5 kg. The legs measure between 12 and 15 cm which allows it to reach speeds of peaks greater than 60 km / h. It has a small, slightly bushy tail measuring 7-11 cm and black on the top and white on the underside. His ears, longer than the head, are gray with black tips.
Its coat is thick and generally dark brown in color with the white or beige ventral part. It is noted that some specimens sometimes take a slightly dark gray to black hue on the rump. Finally the hare moults in the fall to take a thicker coat for the winter and in spring the hairs will fall for a shorter and lighter coat.
The hare has 28 teeth so 16 on the upper part of the jaw and 12 on the lower part.
