Today's prompt was to practice with exposure compensation on shutter mode.
I wasn't thrilled with any of my shots, but I was working under a time crunch so I chose this one.
I do like how the bold colors showed up in this photo.

After yesterday i realized that i wanted to do some legit ground light paths. The answer was getting out my old RC (remote controlled) car. I forgot i had mounted wood to the top to keep it flat, and had already painted it black. That was cool. I drilled two small holes in the cold cathode wand i wanted to use, and put a small blue cathode onto the wand as well. (the other blue was from a previous wand that had broke, but one of them still worked, and luckily the purple cathode brand allows two cathodes through one inverter, so i just plugged it right in.) I brought some screws and a little screwdriver from home and assembled it (see below photo) while there was still some daylight to work by. Tada! ∆

Parents are starting this one young into the exotic car scene.

This is the first in what I hope will be a series centered around a semi-autobiographical chronicle of two auto shows I went to with my three-year-old in the past year.
The Washington Auto Show was the first big car event we ever attended, and it was a real blast. We got to see awesome supercars up close and sit in everything from an Audi TT RS to a Chevy Bolt (best infotainment unit ever) to a Toyota 86 (reasonably fast car!). The one thing we didn't do was the RC raceway, because the price was pretty steep, and I don't think my kid was tall enough to both control the car and see the raceway. Needless to say, a "disagreement" ensued. Well, five months later, I'm hoping to present this build as an olive branch.
I finally took my camera on the walk with the coolest non-Technic car Lego ever released - 8675 Outdoor Challenger! :D I recall I promised on my first Lego forum to do that back in 2011, so I finally took my promise. xD Altair, if you see this, I will be very happy!
This is my only RC car, and I love it so much))) Top speed 14 mph (20 km/hr), I suppose it is the fastest Lego car too.
Quote from official set description "This mean, green, remote-controlled machine is the definition of tough!" kinda reminds me of another line:
"Name's Toph, cause it sounds like tough." © Avatar: The Last Airbender
Okay, I guess my car has a name now. xD Toph is my favourite character of this series!
