From July 2022:

One last day in this joyful place. I love wilderness. I love solitude. I love how these two wonderful qualities are found in abundance in National Parks. That said, sometimes, and especially in our oldest and more historic National Parks, there is a spot that everyone goes to and partakes in what I call "traditional tourist activities". That usually means seeing the most iconic or typical overview of the park they're in. Old Faithful is a great example of this. Mather Point, too. Here in Sequoia? It's the Sherman Tree. Seeing people pour into the Sequoia grove and marvel at the largest tree on Earth is joyful. There's electricity in the air. Happiness is found in spades. And there's a sense of solemn and noble purpose too; people have made the pilgrimage to this park, now it is time to act upon the place as generations before us have, too. That's usually executed in everyone gathering for a picture with the tree. But what stands out to me is the reaction immediately following or preceding the picture: pure awe that you're in the presence of something so ancient, so massive, and so pure, and so universal. Nearly everyone who has journeyed to Sequoia has done this. That sense of joy and awe and purpose is palpable. National Parks are landscapes of nature, yes, but also of emotion. This particular landscape is a landmark of joy. I'm going to miss Sequoia National Park very much. I didn't expect how much I would love it, but here we are. Joyous.

This is TK-2406-01. Assignement: 35th Imperial recon team, planet of Ilum. I was moved from Murkhana because of my injury. I was getting on a transporter, then I got a shot in my arm. Pirates were everywhere, we barely escaped them. Onboard medical frigate I got to know about classified Imperial weapon program somewhere in sector 7G. Officer told me they need people, so right after my recovering I took the first ship going over there. During the war with Separatists I heard some intel about sector 7G. Mostly about blach holes, rapid meteor showers and dozens of strange things. The mission was a great way to find out if it's really true...

It turned out to be... Cold. Intensely cold... Ilum is such a raw world. Never very interesting as a strategic point, but its deposits of kyber... Marvellous.

On the firtst day, we had only tents and some prefabricated rooms. The facility was waiting for building it. Two next days of shaking from cold were the worst days in my life, although no one died from it. That was a suprise how much can a body survive in this temperature.

Then the command started gathering an expedition team. I and TK-3444-72 were the first troopers who joined. I was able to take T-21, we got warning about few native species that can be very aggressive. Elevator beeped, we got into it and ride down in the caves... Captain Mels was waiting for us with a group of techincians in black uniforms. Several deposits of kyber were already opened. It was warmer there than at the surface, what suprised me.

"Troopers! Come with me!" - said Mels.

And here started the expedition.

While walking around Tielt (Belgium) you will come across beautiful places.

The day promised rain, but didn’t deliver. Passed to the east and west of us. The overcast day broke apart over me and sent evening sunlight my way. The mill was bathed in a special light.

I found this little thing at one of the most busy train stations in berlin at "Bahnhof Zoo". You may know it from the bestseller book. If you dont know it dont worry all you have to know is that it is not a place where you would excpect something like this.

A real place of quieitness and recreation in this loud and raw world.

Aeon Von Zark’s gaze is inscribed within the lens like a portal to the invisible, an invitation to perceive what lies beyond the boundaries of the tangible. The half-closed, half-open eye suggests a dual vision of reality: the external, raw world, and an inner realm inhabited by shadows and light.

The grainy texture of the black and white image unveils the furrows of time, each wrinkle becoming a line of narrative etched upon the skin. The camera, both shield and instrument of transmutation, is not merely a tool but an extension of vision, a weapon of dissidence against oblivion.

There is a tension in this portrait between mastery and surrender, between piercing lucidity and the play of mystery. The hand framing the lens reinforces the sensation of absolute control, of capturing the world through the sheer power of sight. And yet, the image pulses with fierce humanity, with a breath of irreverence and tenderness intertwined.

This photograph is not merely a portrait: it is a statement of intent, a visual signature that proclaims the independence of the observer, the creator, the dissident in search of fragments of eternity.
