(Bay Bulls, Newfoundland)
~
Took an early morning drive just to get out to shoot. I had no destination in mind besides Tim Hortons for a large tea! I just drove, enjoyed the alone time, and finally ended up pulling over in Bay Bulls when I saw a few boats that I had previously passed a million times.
I was actually using black and white film but my Sony was ready to go too. I just loved the rawness of these boats and the colours after such long exposure to the elements.

The Grot is a small, picturesque building or viewing station located on the grounds of Rydal Hall in the Lake District, overlooking a waterfall.
It was built in 1668 by Sir Daniel Fleming and designed as a place to frame and enjoy the spectacular Rydal Falls, reflecting the Romantic and Picturesque movements in art and literature.
The poet William Wordsworth, who lived nearby at Rydal Mount, was a tenant on the Rydal Estate and was familiar with the Grot and the grounds of Rydal Hall.

The old woods along the Bluff trail are only a few feet away from massive cliffs overlooking the rocky shore of the Pacific ocean. I was so entranced by the trees I didn't even notice the ocean was there.

Borrowdale Valley lies a few miles south of Keswick and is known for its spectacular natural features, superb walking, waterfall walks and breathtaking views.
Ritson's Force is one of those magical places that makes you instantly grateful to be alive! The turquoise water is crystal clear and flows into a series of picture perfect swimming holes, it’s the stuff dreams are made of. Unbelievably, despite it being located in Wasdale Head (the start of the trail to Scafell Pike and one of the busiest places in the Lake District) it hides in plain sight and remains something of an unknown.
somewhere between the solar panels of Parc del Fòrum and the conference rooms, she found this. nobody else noticed.
he stood inside it. the sparks fell around him and lit the grass. above him, the arc filled the frame. he was the still point — or appeared to be. nothing about this was still.

Named by John Wesley Powell, although there is no actual marble the canyon, he thought the polished limestone looked like marble.
Saved by the Sierra Club, this was the sight of one of the last great dams in the west. Along with others, the Sierra Club fought long and hard to block it, and the idea was officially abandoned in 1968.
On his last day as president, LBJ proclaimed it as a national monument, to protect the canyon from any further attempts to submerge it as a bathtub artificial lake (Proclamation 3889).
