Collage of several photos from my 2012 spring collection.

Yellow natural beauty....the bright side of life...

Can you see the drops of water on the tulips? There had been frost overnight, however, due to the warmth of the morning sunlight the frost was melting.

Yet another picture of my bike ride last weekend. You can find the other pictures here ("Escape") and here ("Dilapidated house").

Went out for a tour - also on board is my 50mm 1.8 lens (of course!). Just wanted to share some impressions of it with you.

Taken at Wangerooge (Germany, North Sea) as well. Cold, windy and cloudy :)

Haha, while editing the picture I always had to think of this photo I took a while ago in autumn 2011. Not the same but quite similar though - a good reason to name it "Summer tree" :)

Photographers at work, "happend" accidentally - actually I just wanted to take a picture of the summer snowflakes :)

I spotted this during my bike ride last weekend.

It was a really old villa in a small village I was passing. Just stopped to take some pictures there - a really interesting place, a bit creepy though ...

Germany. Bärensee nearby the City of Stuttgart. Reflections of fallen trees.

Canon EOS 600D. EF-S10-18mm f/4.5-5.6 IS STM at 10mm. ISO 100. f/10. 1/80s. Exposure bracketing of 3 raw images merged to DRI image.

Feel free to visit my albums.

Can you recognize the car company's name? :D

Actually I wanted to make a long exposure with lots of clouds in the background, but suddenly the sky just turned blue. Bad for photography, good for going outside. Okay, just waiting for another time ...

I spotted this during my bike ride last weekend as well.

Final picture for my 2015 100 x series.

Thanks for all the views, faves and comments during the year!!

I visited the Gothenburg Garden Society today where they have a palm house that has a tempature controlled building all year around.

There you will find this plant with very long leaves

Latest one for my April photo-a-day challenge. A third of the way through already...

Airport Leipzig-Halle in Germany. I just don't get tired of using the 50mm 1.8 lens :D

Best viewed in lightbox of course!

These giant rocks in Meteora Greece, above the valley really made me imagine how earth was , when it was starting to take morph.

Thanks for looking !!!!!

Playing around with the Canon 50mm 1.8 lens and some vintage filters in addition.

25s long exposure of a field.

Unfortunately, there was just a softly blowing breeze which is why the movement of the clouds isn't that visible here.

PRESS L! ;D

I hold a distinct fascination for dry branches 🌱, even though I can't fully comprehend why. I find myself able to gaze at them for extended periods without succumbing to boredom. What particularly intrigues me is their fractal nature. Each branch bears a striking resemblance to the others, yet maintains its unique individuality, much akin to animals, humans, other plants, the expanse of skies, deltas, forests, skin, and all the nature's fruits and riches. It's fascinating how larger segments encompass smaller ones, all following a discernible pattern that our eyes inherently appreciate, unlike the realm of transhumanism that claims all of that is not important. It's not that it is not important, but necessary. Combine the branches with some composition, clean background and some camera, and there you have it – a today's pathway to derive pleasure from the mundane.
