If you haven't seen the documentary on Quincy Jones, it is well worth checking out. The man is such a legend and has been responsible for so much of the music we all listen to on albums and in films. I also have a love for Quincy's daughter, Rashida Jones, who was invoved in the documentary of her father and acted in Parks and Recreation as well as a new series I just finished Black AF.

I used a teeny bit of my Precious Heather Ross Mendocino to make a little sewing kit from the Zakka Style Book compiled by Rashida Coleman-Hale.
I'm taking part in the Zakka Style Sew Along and my book finally arrrived yesterday. I really love these little projects, they're the perfect way to put a little bit of my most loved fabric to good use :)

A new sofa does so much, doesn’t it? When actress Rashida Jones made over her 400 square-foot New York studio, she replaced her IKEA slipcovered couch with a pretty English three-seater (one of my favorite styles). And symmetry is key in a small space: centering the sofa between two shelves creates a comfy nook with a sense of order.
