Broken Reflection
This one is for all the bone heads, including the trucks on the M5 who can't seem to understand the concept of merging or keeping left if not overtaking, hey you even have a lane all to ya selves on the way out the tunnel and the only time you use it is to cut up in front of the queued traffic.. boneheads - note on the flipside there are some good ones, but I feel the are getting fewer and fewer.
.... and the boneheads in the pool who don't quite get it when people in the slow lane are swimming faster then them in the medium lane and don't let people past :(
nothing like a good rant and there was not even any politics in there :) SM is great for that gives every man and his dog a soapbox to stand on :) even if its a little one..

Felicity was stolen from heavily inspired by The Smashing Snorkel's post DC Characters, whilst the use of Red Harrington's face on Lois came from a post entitled Lego Daily Planet Custom Minifigs by Comic Brick Heroes/ C.B.H.
So, as I said a little while ago, I had a big Ebay order coming. What I didn't tell you is that I also had an Amazon order coming. (it was small, and I wasn't really expecting to do anything with it, but that's another story...), so anyway, both orders came, and I ended building a LOT of stuff with them.
Seeing as one can never have enough Batman villains, I built Matches Malone. So, I built it based only on seeing the character, but I went looking around Flickr afterwards, and found that CthulhuFX/Robin Horror Picture Show beat me to the punch, by about a year and half. Anywho, here's his post, aptly entitled DC: Matches Malone.
Who doesn't love Felicity Smoak? And ... the answer is people who weren't lucky enough to read Firestorm in the eighties, or people who haven't watched any of the new DC television shows on the CW. Either way, she is an amazing character, and Emily Bett Rickards is an amazing actress. All she needs now is a TLG laptop. I will probably throw her in my with civilians in the massive battle scene that I have going on, but who knows? Maybe I'll give her a little bow as a joke or something. The oversights one makes when blowing birthday money ...

Lois Lane. Let's not get started on how much I despise Amy Adams' Lois Lane in MoS. Now, I have nothing against Lois Lane or Amy Adams, I just have a pretty freaking big something against them both, when they are mixed together. Lois Lane is not a redhead! Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but as far as I know, there is no source material whatsoever for Lois Lane looking anything like Amy Adams! /rantover. Let's really not get started on how much I hated the face. Anyway, the one thing that I did like about TLG's Lois Lane was the outfit. I stole both the torso and pants from the official Lois Lane, but I gave her a nice smirky face, and some correctly colored hair to boot.
Also, on an unrelated note, Lego and comics both need some serious racial diversity, so other than some of the other guys that have been announced, in order to get the ball rolling on that, I think that I'll start off with John Stewart, John Diggle, and Black Adam, and Crispus Allen, and hopefully, keep moving from there.

The wreck of the Minx, an old coal barge. Great spot to spearfish bass, but no longer. Because there is s total ban on keeping any bass for all recreational anglers. As it appears that the half a dozen fish that I keep a year is threatening bass stocks. But commercial fishermen can still catch tons a year and French trawlers can still target bass as they shoal up to breed. #rantover

lord_tentacles: @richiswherenow @doctornvrmore I was super hyped for the Hobbit movies as I'm a huge Tolkien fan, D&D geek and stuff. LOTR was done exceptionally well. Loved em. But the hobbit movies totally left me cold. Just flat acting against a greenscreen with cartoon monsters and the laws of physics are even more lax than when Legolas surfed a shield or a oliphant trunk. Smaug was disappointing in that he was short of two limbs and the guy from The Office/Sherlock playing Bilbo... He's just SO bland. I know he's supposed to represent the 'everyman' but gawd at least Sean Astin was able to be a charismatic Everyman as Samwise. #rantover, lol. 😁

The trilogy definetly felt a little thin at times. I didn't dig Wrath of Smaug, but seeing this one in 3d I got my monies worth with lots and lots of epic middle earth war fare. Don't know if it would hold up on the small screen.
Today was mostly working from home but because I’ve been posting too many pics from the house I decided to go outside quickly and capture something. The only thing that caught my eye was this huge bush of flowery goodness. Also a general photo but oh well...Can’t have an interesting life everyday. Besides, I’ve always been this militant for straight and honest journaling. (Please don’t bake a cake just so you can post it on Instagram, ok? Right now I'm buying Spider-man books. The main Avengers book and Uncanny X-Men. I buy the main book from crossover events but usually not many of the crossover stories in comics I don't already buy. My goal is to collect runs of the books above. Then other stories I'll read as I can digitally. Like maybe key crossovers. I also buy/read the main Star Wars run. I'm always picking up things that catch my eye though. And I always try to pick up at least one bronze/copper age book I don't already own each week. I'm starting to consider spending more money on keys. I've recently bought Marvel Team Ups #1 and the first appearance of Black Cat. Would love to score first appearance of #Hawkeye. But freakin expensive! *rantover lol
Why did they change the format to have just a one picture click per contact? I'm looking at arbos picture then click to the next wondering why in the world is he worried about bears! Quite flustering for an airhead such as myself. I guess I should start a slideshow. It could have a really funny storyline considering the diversity of my friends.
