I didn't recognise the name when I looked at the festival timetable, but Dave McCabe was the lead singer of the group, the Zutons, who did the original version of 'Valerie'. He is now with a group called the Ramifications!
As lead singer of The Zutons, Dave McCabe had one of the most recognisable voices in the 00s indie scene. Having left those days well behind him, Dave returns this year with his brand new project - Dave McCabe & The Ramifications. This new outfit is a significantly more electronic offering and sees Dave venture into pastures new. From the Ransomnote.co.uk
