Modern day version of the ‘Lone Ranger’, works alone, no ‘Tonto’ and rides a white bike instead of a trusty white stallion, no longer called ‘Silver’ but now called ‘Raleigh’.

Received a custom MRU order today and in it contained 35 Ranger patch arms amongst other things. . :-) Very pleased with them! Will be used on Gela!

Na het rangeren van Bennie 1 vertrok de DB Schenker 6411 weer vanaf Elementis Specialties naar Bad Bentheim met enkele ketelwagens. Voordat de trein op het doorgaande spoor vanuit Zutphen naar Hengelo is moet de trein door een bocht in het bos. Doordat de herfst in volle gang was lag er een bult aan blaadjes over het spoor heen wat maar 1 keer per week wordt gebruikt.

After shunting by Bennie 1 the DB Schenker 6411 left again the site of Elementis Specialties with some tank wagons towards Bad Bentheim. Before the train can enter the track from Zutphen to Hengelo he has to take a curve through the forest. Due to the autumn there was a mountain of leaves to cross while Elementis only receives once a week a train.

Sunrise in the flinders. We spent the day driving along Glass gorge road, where there were some amazing scenery with a mountain line sporting streaks of different browns, reds, yellows and whites. With a quick guestimate I thought, the sun should rise from over there and light the ridge line making for a nice photo. Well should have double checked on my phone because I headed back up the next morning to find the sun rising slightly behind the ridge lining meaning it was stuck in the shadows. Kind of a bust for sunrise, but thankfully I had these nice streaks of cloud lighting up so managed to capture this image.
Thank you to Seiren and her magic fingers for my rare hood/shirt thing, and the other bits of the outfit (all of them, not I think of it) that she got me! Oh, and for holding up the elven ruins in the background.

this coyote was resting in the middle of the road just in front of Tomales Point parking lot. i pulled over and watched him for some time. when the park ranger came from the other side, the coyote wasn't moving at all. the ranger had to pull up real close until he would stand up, facing the situation and finally walks off. Point Reyes, CA
Here it is at Willow Creek in all it's glory! The T004 that did the Ranger in. At least it was a nice enough train to blow a transmission over....
