Waterproofing clothes is essential to stay dry during rainy days. There are several ways to protect jackets and other garments from water, including using special sprays and detergents.https://hg.eu/nl/tips/jas-waterdicht-maken

At the Japanese Garden. Weather was suppose to stay dry...well, this is the PNW. Good thing we all went prepared with our raincoats! Two good things rain does--it disperses the crowd quicklyđ, and the pop of color it adds to foliage is amazing!

A raincoat is a waterproof or water-resistant coat worn to protect the body from rain. The term rain jacket is sometimes used to refer to raincoats that are waist length. A rain jacket may be combined with a pair of rain pants to make a rain suit. Modern raincoats are often constructed of breathable, waterproof fabrics such as Gore-Tex and coated nylons. "Ribbons of distinction" ... i.e. to tell the difference between the blue raincoats for Henrietta, Orson & Zane; on a blue umbrella. Christmas presents given early because we have a La Niña event... it's raining lots at the moment.
