Heavy rain off and on today. I was going to take my girly to the park before she went to school today but the rain kept us inside. So, we spread out a blanket and had a picnic in the family room. We read books and ate on the floor, perfect morning.

Shiny rubber wellingtons we bought in Paris in 1978.

Holes in my worn down heels of my boots caused soaking wet socks and squelching wellies!
