The crowd went wild when the jumbotron showed Ice Cube was at the game in one of the suites. That's pretty cool he comes to quite a few of the Raider games.

For 11 years the Sunday before Memorial Day, Socios Car and Bike Club have sponsored a car show that now draw people from as far away as Los Angeles. I met a gentleman that ride the train every year to see this show. He says the people are friendly on the train, he now has met friends here in Sac that pick him up at the train station and allow him to stay in their home and they all attend this event together like a family. This year they had well over 500 entries of cars, motorcycles, and customized bicycles. Low riders have been around for sure since I was in junior high school and the tradition continues. Vehicles painted in an array of colors and textures. Designs and customization that is an expression of its owner. From the attendance and how far many traveled to come see not only the cars but the “hopping” contest, this seems like the mecca of where lowriders will convene and proudly display their pride and joy.

What I love about being a season ticket holder for the Oakland Raiders is being able to go to some the best tailgate parties and hang out with some pretty cool folks. Pictured here is a sample of some the good eats we have each home game.
