Die Aufnahme entstand auf Madeira, in der Nähe von Porto Moniz an einem verregneten Morgen. Als ich früh morgens im Süden losfuhr, ahnte ich noch nicht, wie schlecht das Wetter im Norden der Insel tatsächlich sein würde. Ich entschied mich trotzdem zu fotografieren, wünschte mir aber Scheibenwischer für die Filter ;)).
The picture was taken in Madeira near Porto Moniz on a rainy morning. When I left the south early in the morning, I had no idea how bad the weather would be in the north of the island. I decided to take pictures anyway, but wished for wipers for the filters ;)).
Lead jet of a pair of German Air Force Tornado ECR’s giving the Lakes the low-level treatment this past week, shortly after visiting the Spadeadam ranges that morning.

Captured this with three RAW shots at -2..0..+2 EV. Digital blending in Photoshop CS6. I increased the overall saturation with Hue/Saturation in Photoshop. Curve adjustment to increase the overall contrast. 1 layer mask in soft light mode at 50% gray, using brush tool to lighten and darken some areas of the image, to bring out details. Topaz DeNoise to reduce noise. Topaz Clarity for additional boost in color and contrast.
Sahalie Falls at Willamette National Forest in Oregon along McKenzie River off Highway 126. Decided to drive to Sahalie and Koosah Falls on Sunday just to check it out. Figured that there will be many people there and the weather was too sunny for waterfall photography. But again, the multiple exposures and HDR processing allowed me to get a nice image of this waterfall.
Walking along the creek allows for several comps. This is one of them. To get this shot, you have to climb down a steep slope and walk out to the rocks in the creek. Of course, your feet will get wet. Have a great Monday everyone!

The Oregon Coast has many stunning views. The High Tide is a good time to witness the raw power of the Ocean waves. This wave action at Depoe Bay, Oregon.
Just back from a week in Scotland. The weather was the usual mixed bag but there were some better moments. This is Crawton Burn as it tumbles over the cliffs into raging sea, just as the warmth of the morning illuminates the scene. This is an truly stunning location to visit any time of day but to find it like this was truly special. Hope you are all doing OK and looking after yourselves, I'll hopefully catch up with your uploads over the next few days.
